Price Reduced!!! For sale a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport Quad Cab 4X4 pickup truck. I am second owner, it had 10,000 miles on it. Like new gray cloth interior, with bucket seats and fold up rear seats( no tears or rips). It has the 4.7L V8 with 116460 miles. Well maintained, with service records, oil changed every three thousand miles. It has ac, pw, pl, cruise, tilt wheel(no working) cd and cassette player, cold air intake, throttle body spacer( for better gas mileage), custom 3" duel exhaust, bed liner, matching cap. With in the last two years she has had all fluids changed ( transfer case, both rear ends, trans, engine coolant, new radiator, both rear wheel cylinders replaced, pinion seal in the rear end replaced, new tires, new shocks, 4-wheel drive switch replaced. Clear coat is pealing on the passenger side front fender. This truck is solid, with only rust coming through on the rear bumper. It is inspected till 5/14. You could drive this any where, looks great, sounds great and runs great. The only reason for selling I want to buy a Dodge Magnum. I have clear title in hand. Truck comes with no warranty. SRT back to Dodge, Dart SRT, new Challenger, Charger and Caravan's death outlined in 5-yr plan
Tue, 06 May 2014The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalls nearly 750k vehicles in two campaigns
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling a total of 747,817 vehicles in the US in two separate campaigns recently added to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration database.
The first one covers about 434,581 units of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee from the 2011-2014 model years with electric hydraulic power steering, the 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 160 amp alternator, according to FCA. In the affected vehicles, it's possible for the alternator to fail without warning and possibly cause the car to stall. According to the documentation submitted to NHTSA, the automaker began investigating the problem in August 2014 and has found possible evidence of one crash caused by the failures but no known injuries.
Customers will begin receiving notification about the recall next month, and obviously the repairs will be done at no cost to them.
