It is equipped with power everything and has key-less entry and tilt wheel. Got it to use this winter to pull my Gmc sierra off the road but financial situation forces me to sell. It runs great with no funny noises or ticks at all. It has been rino-lined in the box and done right. It also has a locking diamond plated toolbox I just put on it with a key. Interior is great with one tiny hole in drivers seat. The whole truck is in really really good shape for the year as a older gentleman owned it and he always had regular oil changes done every 3k. I personally love the little truck. It DOES NOT have a check engine light on and runs good. Hate to let it go but need the money at this point more than the truck."

Here is a great running regular cab Dodge Dakota Sport with the 3.9 L magnum and is automatic. It has the manual shift 4x4 so is not the turn knob type so it is certain to lock in every time. The four wheel drive works excellent and has no issues at all as none with the truck. Just a great little 4x4 I am letting go only because I need the money. I only bought it to pull my  GMC Sierra off the road for the winter. Truck also has a posi rear in it. Really hate to sell it as I have gone over everything on it to make sure it will be a very reliable vehicle for years to come.It has 4 excellent 265/75/15 tires and a full size spare on the same mag style Dakota rims. Tires are around 75% or better remaining and are not cheap tires.

Pickup only. No checks cash on pickup or paypal. And lets remind you this is a auction you bid you buy. There will be no dickering after the sale. So ask what you need to know before you bid. If you would like to see it first it can be seen by appointment only at my residence in Corinth, NY 12822   ALSO HAS A LOCKING DIAMOND PLATED TOOL BOX ON THE BACK NOW!!!! Just added new front brakes and rotors , and cap , rotor and plug wires. And a rust free driver door was just put on after these pictures were taken. Looks great. Only rust is on rocker panels that is it.
It drives excellent down the road and steering is super tight on it. Drives like a 50,000 mile truck. Was owned by a older gentleman and oil changes were done every 3k.
Thank you and happy bidding, bid to win and you will have a great little 4x4 this winter and for years to come.

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.

Junkyard Gem: 1994 Dodge Caravan with manual transmission

Tue, Jul 4 2017

The K Platform saved Chrysler from certain doom after the company's 1979 bailout by the federal government, and one of the most successful K-based vehicles was the one that spawned the American minivan craze in 1984: the original Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager. Built all the way through the 1995 model year, these K-Caravans or K-Voyagers could be purchased with a four- or five-speed manual transmission, but just a handful were sold that way. Here's an extraordinarily rare late 5-speed example, spotted in a San Francisco Bay Area wrecking yard. The shifter location is a little awkward, requiring the driver to reach back a bit more than would be the case in, say, a Dodge Shadow (which shared the same powertrain). It's too bad that Chrysler never offered these vans with five-on-the-tree manuals. Even though plenty of Mitsubishi-V6-powered front-wheel-drive Chryslers of the late 1980s and early 1990s were available with manual transmissions (e.g., the Chrysler Laser/Dodge Daytona or the Plymouth Sundance/Dodge Shadow), Chrysler minivan shoppers who wanted a stickshift had to take the four-cylinder engine (either a Chrysler 2.2/2.5 or, in the early years, a Mitsubishi 2.6 Astron). This one has the naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter engine that went into so many Plymouth Acclaims and Chrysler LeBarons. In 1995, it was rated at 100 horsepower, which made for stately acceleration with a full load of passengers. For the 1989 and 1990 model years, a 150-horse turbocharged Chrysler 2.5 with 5-speed was the high-performance minivan setup... and you should let us know if you find a factory-built one. This is only the second example of a manual-trans-equipped 1990s Chrysler minivan I have found in the junkyard (the first was this '93 Voyager), and both vans were lightly-optioned El Cheapo models with cloth seats and hand-crank windows; the manual transmission was a bit cheaper than the automatic in those days. At least this one has air conditioning. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Dodge to sell off first Challenger SRT Hellcat for charity

Sun, 27 Jul 2014

Want to get your hands on a new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and can't wait to be the first to get one? Las Vegas will be the place to be on September 27. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
