1998 Dodge Dakota SLT for Sale. 4 Wheel Drive, Cruise, Power windows & Locks. Remote Keyless entry. 5.2L Magnum V8. High Miles, but in EXCELLENT condition. Also has bed cover, and spray on Rhino Lining.

I am the second owner of this vehicle. NO rust, NO body damage. A few minor scratches/blemishes. NEW Goodyear Wrangler RT/S on the back. Front tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. In the two years I have had this pick-up, I have put on a new water pump (May of 2012), New A/C compressor (August 2013), and the tires. The previous owner put on Upper and Lower Ball Joints at 182,772 miles, and had the Tranny rebuilt at 174,998. Only 21,000 miles on the transmission. I have the service records to prove that.

The interior is also in excellent condition. No major stains, and no rips/tears in the apohlstry. Non-smoker.

Everything functions as it should. Fires right up, even in sub-zero temps. Engine runs and idles very smooth. A/C blows cold, heater blows hot. 4 Wheel drive works perfectly, and the transmission shifts smooth.

Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production

Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.

Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... Corvette Z06 and Viper TA square off at the strip

There are many long-standing grudge matches among automobiles: 911 vs GT-R, Mustang vs Camaro, Ferrari vs Lamborghini... but as far as high-end American metal goes, it doesn't get much more legendary than Viper vs 'Vette. So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque.
