This is a 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT with around 180,000 miles.  It has a 5.3 liter V-8 Magnum engine.  It is black in color except the driver door that is green.  It was replaced when my brother's foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator and he drove through the garage door opening with the door open.  The door was bent backwards and had to be replaced.  This truck runs and drives great.  The interior is nice except for the screw came out of the ceiling console and it sags down.  He has not fixed it.  Lazy!  Just kidding.  He takes care of our grandfather and has his hands pretty full.
The exterior of the truck is solid but the paint on the hood is faded in spots and the driver's door is different as mentioned before.
The main problem is electrical.  After the door was replaced the electric windows and the blinkers don't work.  The electric door locks and brake lights work so we don't know what the issue is.  The main problem with the truck is that when you turn it off, the dash light behind the blinkers icon stays on and eventually runs the battery down.  Hopefully for someone with some electrical experience this is an easy fix.  ALL of the electrical issues started when the door was changed.  Maybe there is something wrong with this door.
There is a pioneer stereo system and a 10 disk CD changer behind the seat.  This is a powerful truck and sounds cool.  He has a clear title and is ready to sell.  My husband just died and my brother wants to buy his Chevy Tracker so he needs the money from this truck sale.
Please e-mail with any questions or come see the truck in person.  He can show the truck after 5pm or by appointment with some notice.  We live in Cullman, AL.  Thanks for looking.  If you call you can leave a message, it is my home phone and I work as well.  Sale will be completed in person with cash in hand.  Buyer is responsible for shipping.

2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye priced $14,000 below Demon

Mon, Jul 2 2018

Steve Beahm, head of Passenger Car Brands at Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Fiat, told Motor Trend that the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye is "a Hellcat that's been possessed by a Demon." Turns out the Hellcat Redeye was also possessed by The Ghost of Great Deals. Dodge just released pricing for the Challenger line, the crimson-eyed terror at the top starting at $69,650, which is $13,645 less dear than the $83,295 MSRP for the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon. The asterisk: the Redeye needs the same $1,345 destination charge and $1,700 gas guzzler tax as the 2018 Demon, so the difference still holds once you get the Redeye off the dealer lot. The final tally: $72,995. Torque News acquired a copy of the Challenger dealer order guide, and options on the Hellcat Redeye will run you a little more than the bucket of $1 options on the Demon. Among the list, the summer performance tires add $695, the optional 3.09 rear axle adds $1,095, a painted black hood costs $1,995, and the Widebody package adds $6,000 for it's extra 3.5 inches. According to TN, you can run a standard Hellcat Redeye up to almost $90,000, and push a widebody to $95,000. The standard Challenger SRT Hellcat gets touched by the bargain bogeyman, too: the price goes down by $5,645 for 2019 to $58,650, even though it's been uprated by ten horsepower to 717 hp, and by six pound-feet to 656 lb-ft. Out-the-door price after a $1,700 gas guzzler tax and $1,345 destination fee is $61,695. Before including destination, there's a long way down to the next model, the 485-horsepower Challenger R/T Scat Pack at $38,995. Buyers who choose the six-speed manual for this trim will pay a $1,000 gas guzzler tax. The V6-powered, 305-hp Challenger GT in two-wheel drive starts at $29,995. Sending power to all four of the GT's wheels needs $32,995 before destination. The base model, two-wheel drive SXT gets the Challenger doors open at $27,295, the all-wheel drive model costing $30,295. Related Video:

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets 22 mpg

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

With its crazy 707 horsepower on tap and roughly $60,000 starting price, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been one of the most talked about cars of the summer, maybe even the year. However, there's always been one lingering question about the behemoth that Dodge has waited to answer until now - its fuel economy. The EPA ratings for the muscle car are finally out, and the numbers are actually pretty impressive for a vehicle with this much power.
A 2015 Challenger Hellcat with the eight-speed automatic is rated at 22 miles per gallon highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined. Opting for the six-speed manual drops those figures to 21 mpg highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined.
"As the fastest muscle car ever, the Challenger Hellcat can run 10-second ETs [elapsed times] at the track, and then get 22 miles per gallon on the drive home. With a starting price of $59,995, there's nothing else that even comes close," said Dodge and SRT President Tim Kuniskis in the company's release.
