I've had every inch of this truck gone over and repaired or replaced; what ever was needed. No expense spared. Paint on this truck is still in very good condition. The list of new items on this truck is very extensive. The truck has 236,xxx original miles on truck but has a New Jasper 3.9 V6 motor installed; motor is barely broke in w/ less than 1,500 miles on it, as all the following items too!!

All new items listed below have been added in 2012/2013 and I have driven truck less than 1,500 miles since added.

New Convertible Top, new Radiator, new Battery, new Cooper Tires, new Carpet, new A/C unit installed, 5 speed Transmission just rebuilt, new seals in transfer case w/ new fluid, undercarriage coated, new windshield, new tail lights, headlights replaced, new Sirus ready radio installed w/ cd player, new dash skin, new plugs/wires, new muffler, new brakes and rotors turned, new shocks, front end alignment completed, tune-up, carb rebuilt .......I'm probably forgetting a few things but this is the majority of items.

This truck could easily be your every day driver. I would not hesitate to drive this 4x4 truck any where. This truck is a great fun truck to drive around town and I'm always getting nice comments on this truck; most people have never seen a factory built convertible truck, so it will draw a lot of attention when your out in it!!

NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.

Roadkill pits every project car against each other

The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
