This is an actual 1969 Dodge Super Bee Hardtop, not a clone.

I bought this car on eBay about seven years ago. Have had a lot of fun with it but am ready to make space for something different.

Gets lots of honks and thumbs up wherever I go.

It is an 'ENGINE NUMBERS MATCHING' car, not sure about the transmission or rear end. Starts right up and runs, shifts and stops fine. I was told the engine has been rebuilt, has a cam kit which gives a little rumble to it, has flowmaster exhausts, sounds great. Has a different carb/manifold and ignition setup, I have the original manifold and ignition which go with car. All gauges, speedo, tach and clock all work (had either fixed or rebuilt) as do wipers and lights. Heat and defrost and radio do not work. I've put new tires, gas tank, steering box, horn, alternator, fan shroud, battery and other odds and ends in/on it. The front half of the car has been completely rewired. All work while I've owned it has been done by qualified mechanics, I am not a mechanic. The car looks fantastic from about 20 feet but it does have some paint issues on the roof, base of the doors and a few other spots, I've tried to show them in the photos.

Fender tag suggests car was originally silver with black stripe. Options include: power steering, woodgrain wheel, side quarter scoops, 3 speed wipers.

SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY please..

Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.

Junkyard Gem: 1978 Dodge Tradesman Custom Van

Fri, Nov 4 2016

The custom-van craze was huge in California, back in the 1970s, and plenty of folks who would never have considered getting zonked on Acapulco Gold while listening to Elephant's Memory ended up buying Econolines and Beauvilles and Tradesmen with shag carpeting, bubble windows, and wild graphics. In fact, van buyers could get that stuff right from the factory. Most of those vans are gone now, but I found this used-up '78 Dodge in a self-service wrecking yard in California's Central Valley. Owners of custom vans felt strongly about their rides back in the Malaise Era. This one has the look of a vehicle that was used for beer-and-burned-meat-heavy tailgate parties at Oakland Raiders games. Such service is rough on a van. Try to picture this interior when it was new and plush, not the way it looks now. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. 2017 Dodge Durango GT Brass Monkey: A funky winter drive

Fri, Mar 24 2017

The 2017 Dodge Durango is one of our favorite sport utility vehicles. It has power and style and it stands out in a segment that is filled with vanilla-flavored people haulers. We recently had a Durango GT outfitted in Brass Monkey trim – highlighted by its 20-inch burnished bronze aluminum wheels - and took to the back roads of Michigan for an extended drive. The snow was flying. The temperatures dropped. It was muddy. The unpaved roads, pocked and rutted, were jarring, even though the forested setting was serene. The Durango had no trouble with any of it. Watch our video review for the complete experience.
