1969 Dodge Coronet (Super Bee Clone)
Complete car (minus the motor and transmission) **Restoration has already been started** ::BODY:: The fenders, trunk lid, and doors have had body work PROFESSIONALLY done, and they are currently in primer. The hood is the correct fiberglass A12 six pack hood. The tail panel was recently painted Super Bee correct. The car is from New Mexico so yes, there is surface rust from the sun. Again, SURFACE RUST. The underneath is in excellent shape, and displays no rot or rust. ::INTERIOR:: The interior is the correct Super Bee interior. The rally dash has been painted the correct color black, and there are no cracks or tears in the black dash pads. The floor shift steering column has been painted the correct black. (All of which looks new) The bucket seats have the head rests and a 6 way adjustable track. They are complete but need restored. The back seat is in great shape, it just needs recovered to black. I have brand new floor plates for the bucket seats still in the package. The head liner is brand new and still in the package. The black door panels and arm rests are in excellent shape. All of the body gaskets are brand new, and still in the packages. The majority of everything is there to complete the car minus the motor and transmission. It is a solid New Mexico car that does not need much body work. My intentions were to obviously clone it as a Super Bee and turn it into a street strip vehicle. I have since purchased two other cars, and have been focusing my attention on them, therefore I do not have time for this car, and hate seeing it sit in storage. Chrysler investing $20M in Toledo plant to support 9-speed auto production
Sun, 28 Apr 2013In 2011, Chrysler announced a $72-million investment in its Toledo Machining Plant to modernize production of the eight- and nine-speed torque-converters for automatic transmissions made there. That upgrade work won't be finished until Q3 of this year, but Chrysler has already announced a further $19.6-million investment to increase production capacity for the nine-speeders.
The extra units will be necessary because the nine-speed transmission they'll be mated to is going into three popular models: it will debut on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, then go into the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart. The company predicted that this year alone it would sell 200,000 units equipped with the nine-speed tranny, and it is spending some $374 million in addition to the investment in Toledo to upgrade production capacity for it.
The work attached to this new investment won't begin until Q3 of 2014, and it will be finished by the end of that year. There's a press release below with all the details.

We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
