I am selling a 1974 Dodge Charger. Let me start by telling you what the car needs. A gas tank, a clutch, the front valance, battery and tires. Now let me tell you what it don't need. The paint is 2 years old it is viper yellow with racing strips and flat black hood. The body is near mint. Original floors and trunk. NO ROT. No holes. The body is straight and the body lines match up. The frame is just as good with the original black paint. The Chrome is off but I have all of the pieces. And the interior is all there but needs some love. Seats, door panels and carpet. The dash was replaced with a mint one from a 74. The motor is a 383 from a 1968 Charger and runs great. If you would like to hear it run I can make a video of it and upload it to youtube at your request I use a gas can because the gas tank is out of it completely the good door store here can order you one for $250 The tranny is a 4 speed manual. and needs a clutch it still has one in it but its slipping and only cost approx. $80 locally here All together it's a beautiful car that needs very little to get on the road. This is my husbands dream car and he planned on fixing it & driving it, but just before the holidays I lost my job & since then its been down hill he really hate to part with it but we have no choice as the bills are piling up & theres only so many payment arrangments you can make with the collectors (gas electric phone etc.) lol so not only are you gaining a great car but your helping me catch up on some of many over due bills so PLEASE bid generously because I really dont want to sell it but have no choice at this point & if your a car lover then you understand how hard this must be for him to do Okay enough of my sob story I just didnt want you to think I was selling you a piece of junk because this car is far from junk
If you are local near the 14036 zip code you are more than welcome to stop by and take a look or if you want more information on it your more than welcome to call or text 716-220-6046 I do however have this car listed for sale in other places so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I need to sell this ASAP
The buyer is responsible for pick up, shipping arrangements etc. I will help you in any way I can as far as being home for the shipping company you hire to transport it to you
At the end of the auction I expect a $1000 down payment within 24 hours to show you are not wasting mine or your time If you are local you can pay the balance in cash when picking the car up but still need to make the deposit within 24 hours if you are having this car shipped then as soon as payment is made in full I will USPS you the clear title and bill of sale with tracking and then you can arrange shipping whenever as someone is always home to release the car to whomever you have picking it up
I have put a reserve on this auction but only because I dont want to give it away, as you will not find a cleaner car underneath normally the frame is rotted This car has not been sitting on the lawn very long its only been out in the elements this season because I was supposed to get a garage up so I could store it in there & be able to work on it at my own lesure but then my situation changed so instead of waiting for things to change and have it rot out Ive decided to sell it to someone who can work on it right away and appreciate it
PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED SPECIFIC PICTURES PLEASE.......FEEL FREE TO CALL OR TEXT ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT if no answer leave a message & my husband will get back to you asap 716-220-6046
On Feb-24-13 at 11:04:01 PST, seller added the following information:
THERE WAS A MISTAKE IN THIS LISTING ITS A 383 MOTOR NOT A 318 BUT IT WONT LET ME CHANGE IT IN THE LISTING BECAUSE THERES A BID ON IT ALREADY SO IF YOU SEE THE PICTURES YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ITS NOT A 318

Burglars target Detroit-area dealership, steal Hellcat from showroom floor
Thu, Jan 26 2017A crew of Detroit car thieves seriously upped their game this week after stealing a Hellcat Challenger straight off the showroom floor. According to CBS Detroit, at around 1:00 am on January 24, a crew of burglars hit the Snethkamp Ram City dealership in Highland Park, MI. In full view of surveillance cameras, the burglars smashed a large glass door that led to the showroom floor and within seconds made off with a $75,000 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. First they pushed the car through the broken door and out on to Woodward where a van was waiting. The van then pushed the car to a waiting tow truck and, just like that, the car and the crooks were gone. "It looks like they had about a minute and 30 seconds to open the door and push the car out, and then we see another car pushing it away," owner Mark Snethkamp told WWJ. "We've got some really good video and I'm shocked that the Highland Park police didn't catch them because they were here very shortly right after them." Snethkamp also told WWJ that they haven't had a break-in at the dealership like this since the 90s. Both the car and the suspect remain at large, and the Detroit Police Department are encouraging anyone with information to call either DPD or the Help Eliminate Auto Thefts (HEAT) tip line. Bull leads Texas police on four hour chase
Thu, May 12 2016A bull leading police on a chase through a Texas town may sound like something out of a country music song, but police in Arlington, Texas recently had just such a situation on their hands. According to WFAA, on the afternoon of May 9, a young bull got loose from his pen and decided to take a stroll through the streets of Arlington. "There was a cow walking down the neighborhood," said Arlington resident Jillyan Nance. "It trotted down my home and cut across our yard into the neighbor's yard." Arlington police were alerted to the escaped bull and, in a scene more Texas than Steve Earle drinking a Shiner at the Alamo, they attempted to chase it down with police cruisers. For the next four hours, police engaged the creature in a sedate, low-speed chase through Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, and other neighboring towns. The bull, for his part, largely ignored his pursuers and the throngs of people coming out of their houses to watch the strange scene and post pictures to Facebook and Instagram. With numerous police cruisers in not-quite-hot pursuit, the bull ambled along the shady streets, stopping here and there to munch on some grass and take in the views. Eventually, a friendly local rancher showed up and lassoed the bull in Dalworthington Gardens just before 9:00 p.m. Police have not released the name of the bull's owner or any motive for its escape. Perhaps, like the unicorn that escaped into a California orchard back in February, it decided that it had had enough of working for a living and was looking for something else. Classic Design Concepts has another riff on the widebody Challenger
Wed, Nov 2 2016Dodge is secretly working on a widebody Hellcat-powered Challenger dubbed the ADR. But for those that can't wait a few years, there's this – Classic Design Concepts' Group 2 Widebody Challenger that was unveiled at SEMA. The original Group 2 Widebody Challenger from CDC made its debut at SEMA back in 2008, but was given a new look for this year's trade show. The car, which you can scrutinize in the gallery above, features a bright red paint job with a blacked-out American flag on the left rear fender and "Hemi" in yellow on the right side. The wheels are also color-coated to match the rear billboard fenders, with the right side being finished in yellow and the left side a dark gray. CDC's body kit is wide, slammed to the ground, and menacing. And if you happen to forget that this is a widebody Challenger, because the extra six inches of width are hard to miss, there's a clear reminder on the back of the car.
