1970 Dodge Charger R/T #S Matching 440 Engine, Transmission does not match. This car is hard loaded with a ton of options, Power Steering, Brakes, Air Conditioning, Rear Window Defrost, Luggage Rack, Light Package, Console Buckets, Wood Grain Dash, White with Pin Stripes, Seven Blade Fan. The list goes on, check out Fender Tag. Speaking of the Fender Tag, when I bought the car it had no tag, and let me tell you if anyone tells you getting one is easy they have not tried. To do it correctly takes a lot of research, putting the title in you name, and proving that what you put on the Tag is correct to the car. This R/T for the most is all original and made that part of it very easy to prove. The only sheet metal that I can see that was replaced was the driver door that was from an R/T as well. Door has the partial Tag still on it from the other car. Other than that this car has not been touched and in my opinion is a good thing. I like to see what I am buying. Lets start with what is missing. Under the hood, the air breather is gone, the front seats, rear glass, front wind shield, and passenger side window will have to be replaced and steering wheel and some trim around rear window. Something fell on roof while in previous owners garage, breaking glass and denting the roof. I took black vinyl roof off and checked for rust and straightened roof and all looks good. The engine as you can see is very original. The battery tray is rusted as well as is the inner fender under it. All other metal under hood looks good. The front fenders, hood, bumpers, grill is in very good condition with a little rust on lower fenders behind front wheels. The front wheel wells look excellent, doors are very nice, roof looks great now. Rear quarters are in good shape with rust down on lower section behind wheel. The drivers side quarter will need repairing on rail, but there is no way I would replace it. The deck lid, trunk pad, tail panel, drop offs, and rear valance will need to be replaced. The rear bumper and tail lights do not need to be replaced. The wheel houses look very good. Will need front floor pans. Rear pans are in good condition as is the tunnel, the dash and console is complete and looks good. Rear seats are original to car. the rear frame rails show some surface scale as you can see in pictures, but do not need replacing. The frame rails are in very good condition and incourage anyone that is serious about car give me your email address and I will get you the pictures that I have. This R/T is a very solid complete car to restore and well worth it when done, but does need a complete restoration with very few parts needed and we all know what kind of tab that can run. Sheet metal is cheap compared to mopar parts. This is the first of 5 chargers I will have coming up for sale, and I will entertain an offer on this R/T. I reserve the right to end auction early, if you have a 5 or less rating you must call before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. If you have any questions call, If you need any additional pictures ask for them. If you want to inspect the car, please do. I will help in any way that I can, but make no mistake about it, you win it, show up with trailer. Winning the bid is not an invitation to inspect. I will help with any and all request to make you feel comfortable about your bid. I have a clear Tenn. Title in my name. Please call Joe@615-499-2960 Please NO text, I am not in High School. No calls after 9 PM Central time. Thanks, Joe

2015 Dodge Viper GTC available in 25 million no-cost combos with 1 Of 1 bespoke program
Thu, Jan 8 2015What's the one thing no car can have too much of? Here's a hint – it's not power. It's not efficiency, either, or technology, or even safety. It's exclusivity. It's one reason Rolls-Royce has become a legend building absolutely bespoke motor vehicles, and it's the reason Dodge, of all companies, is offering a new GTC trim level for its Viper supercar. Now, you might be asking what's so special and exclusive about a trim level? Well, in the Viper GTC's case, it gives owners access to a catalog of 8,000 shades of paint for the exterior, 24,000 "hand-painted" custom stripe patterns, 10 different wheel options, 16 interior trims and no fewer than six aerodynamic packages. That results in 25 million different configurations for the 645-horsepower snake. Most shockingly, the customization choices come at no additional cost on the GTC model. And it's only the start. Ordering a GTC will enroll customers in a unique VIP program called Viper Concierge, which according to Dodge, "offers an exclusive point of contact throughout the custom Viper build process." In other words, buyers will be given the means to stay right on top of their car's production, through the 140-to-160-hour painting process, which itself will be fully documented with pictures and through a mobile-friendly website, to the actual construction of their GTC. The Concierge process will start with the ordering stage, which will include Dodge sending customers a paint chip showing the owner's custom choosing, which they can confirm or refuse. Shortly thereafter, Dodge will send buyers a 1:18-scale "speed-form" replica in their chosen custom colors, once again to confirm or deny the build. Once the buyer's color and option selection is locked-in, that car becomes a one-of-one Viper for that year – no other buyer will be permitted to build a Viper to the same specifications. The concierge service also grants access to the Viper Ambassador Owner's Portal, where orderers can track their car's build process, receive weekly updates and share their excitement with (jealous) friends and family. And once the car is complete, it will be fitted with a custom dash plaque identifying its bespoke provenance – the owner can choose to have their name put on the badge, the car's nickname, or whatever they wish (Dodge will also ship each Viper with a second blank plate to include if the original owner sells the car).
Dodge, Hyundai crowdsourced-funding sites deemed successes
Wed, 05 Jun 2013What's not to love about crowdsourcing? This idea, after all, has given us Kickstarter as well Local Motors, but automakers are starting to use the social platform to sell more cars (or just drum up a little PR). Both Dodge and Hyundai have used "crowd-funding" recently, and while Automotive News is reporting that neither has racked up big sales with this gimmick, both automakers are pleased with the attention.
For Hyundai, it teamed up with website Motozuma.com to help customers crowdsource money for a down payment, and the automaker matched this amount up to $500. Last year, this helped Hyundai sell an extra 1,600 units, a fraction of its total 2012 sales. That figure is far larger than Dodge fared with the Dodge Dart Registry - it netted only two sales and a small number of individual options. This registry did help University of Southern California fraternity crowdsource $18,000 to buy a Dart for a local Meals on Wheels, however. Despite the low sales figures, Dodge and Hyundai are considering their crowdsourcing programs a success since it helped them connect with younger buyers.
All-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT confirmed by EPA website
Thu, Oct 27 2016The US Environmental Protection Agency accidentally confirmed the upcoming Dodge Challenger GT by posting fuel economy figures for the all-wheel-drive variant of the muscle car. According to FuelEconomy.gov, the Challenger GT, which will come with the 3.6-liter V6 when it's released, is rated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the vehicle a combined rating of 21 miles per gallon. Those figures are slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Challenger with the same engine, which gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. While previous reports indicated that Dodge is planning to release the all-wheel-drive Challenger GT sometime in 2017, the automaker hasn't confirmed the vehicle. (Mopar's all-wheel-drive concept from last year's SEMA Show is pictured above.) With the EPA putting out the car's official fuel economy figures, the all-wheel-drive muscle car is definitely coming, and should be here before the entire Challenger lineup gets its expected redesign in 2018. And yes, we're still hopeful that the so-called Challenger ADR we saw in spy photos means we'll see all wheel drive and Hellcat power. Because Hellcat everything. Related Video:
