Purchased in 2002 from a classic car dealer in OH. Otherwise, I do not know the history on this car. Motor was rebuilt under 500 miles ago. Still have original carb & intake manifold. Last year had the interior redone, new vinyl top this year. Radiator was re-cored with 4 pass vs 3 pass. New front re-chromed bumper. Had existing rear bumper re-chromed but they did a poor job and there are 2 small flakes in it. Both bumpers less than 2 months old. New drum brakes & cylinders all around. New tires. New gas tank with sending unit. Headlamp motors rebuilt with new limit switches. New wiring harness from head lights to fire wall installed. Included in price is new firewall/dash wiring harness & dash to tail light harness (not installed). Also new window weather stripping (not installed) New transmission lines. Car runs fantastic. Everything works as it should except the tach does not read correctly, all other gauges seem accurate. Benzel on tach is cracked. Radio works. Body & frame is rust free. Paint is good with a couple small chips here & there, no dents or dings. I have other pictures of the wheel wells all around I can send if wanted. A trunk plug came out and I got caught in the rain. There is some surface rust that I have tried to address. Trunk pan is solid and I have the spare tire rim & original jack complete. I have ordered a complete body plug kit to install. This is a rare vinyl top and it turns a lot of heads. Bid with confidence, this is a beautiful car.

2014 Dodge Durango Ron Burgundy ads already have 2.7M views [w/videos]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013The guy who once made the Dodge Stratus a punchline of sorts is now a spokesman for the 2014 Dodge Durango, and the move appears to be paying off handsomely for Dodge. Will Ferrell, acting as 1970s-era TV news personality Ron Burgundy, has teamed up with the automaker for co-branded advertisements between the refreshed 2014 Durango and Ferrell's new movie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Like Ferrell's fictional character, the ads are outrageous, flamboyant and a bit random. They're also successful: Automotive News says that more than 2.7 million people have already watched the videos since they debuted on October 5.
Those views are similar to the numbers that AN's top viral video of the year (e.g. Volkswagen's "Get Happy" Super Bowl ad) received, but there will eventually be as many as 70 videos comprising the Burgundy-Durango spots. According to the report, the videos were created primarily as a viral campaign online, although some are airing on television, too. For Dodge's part, the cost of the videos was significantly lower than a usual television campaign thanks to the fact that Ferrell wasn't paid for the spots since they were made in cooperation with promotional efforts for his new movie.

Sun, 14 Apr 2013Dodge and SRT Motorsports announced that the Dodge Dart will be returning for its sophomore season of the Global Rallycross Championship with a two-car team fielded by Pastrana Racing. Travis Pastrana drove his GRC Dart to victory lane in the fourth race of the car's inaugural season, and his race team is looking for even more success with the addition of off-road racer Bryce Menzies behind the wheel of the second car.
The 2013 GRC season kicks off on April 21 in Brazil with plenty of dirt-spewing, ramp-jumping action. Scroll down for a video from the cars' main sponsor, Red Bull, and a press release from Chrysler.
eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
