You are bidding on a 1966 Dodge Charger. This car started its life as a 318 poly engine with a 3 spd manual. It was originally ordered by a man in Colorado where it spent maybe 10 years. The car then came to California where it has been ever since. This has been in my family as the second owners since then. 4-5 years ago the car went through a complete restoration/upgrades etc. I will attempt to list all that was done below. This car is an awesome ride that can be driven anywhere without worries. It now has plenty of power, handles great and rides smooth!! Again I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. This is a very well rebuilt car with no short cuts taken!!! I have all receipts for everything that was done on the car.

-Paint and body done in correct GG1 paint code.
- Paint is in excellent condition, but is not perfect. The most obvious, is a nickel size “bubble” on the passenger side sail panel area. Probably a small particle when it was sprayed.
-Rocker panels, wheel trim and ridge trims removed.
- Almost all exterior chrome redone, some was just polished and a few shows some scuff marks around rear windows. All trim is the original trim for the car.
-4 wheel SSBC disc brakes and all new lines. Still has dual chamber manual master cylinder.
-All new suspension, Hellwig front and rear sway bars added, hemi leafs in rear, new torsion bars in front, KYB gas shocks on the corners.
-All parts were blasted and painted during process.
Steel wheels painted GG1 with 15x10 wheels made for rear(with no altering of body, suspension) wearing 295 50 15 Cooper Tires.
Fronts are 15x8’s with 235 60 15’s.
Covered with redline dog dish caps.
Interior...
All seats recovered to factory appearance, new foam with slight increase in side bolsters for added comfort. All new carpet front to rear.
Entire interior covered with Dynamat for heat and sound.
All electrical re done in the entire car.
Gauges refurbished and all rewired. Gas gauge reads 1/4 tank off, otherwise all gauges are accurate including EL works on all interior.
EL radio works with replaced single dash speaker.
Center console replaced/refurbished and all functional.
New dash pad.
Does have 3 cluster aftermarket gauges under dash for more accuracy.
Car is wired for alternate stereo with cables currently hidden in trunk area but ran to front of car for easy connection of your choice.
All Door panels and rear panels redone, repainted as well as all arm rests replaced/redone.
Trunk is all carpeted with side jack cover redone with easy access. Spare tire and wheel in place with cover.
Rear trunk panel replaced.
Aftermarket taillight lenses and chrome surrounds all redone. Does have some minor pitting in crevices but are original pieces.
Bumpers replaced/rechromed.
Has original Cert Card with holder in engine compartment.
All door/window hardware replaced, lubed etc when interior apart, replaced door hinges and hood hinges.
Front glass replaced, rear glass original with some minor scratches in glass. Door and side windows original glass.
Headliner is the original and does have a few small “punctures” in it but did not want to alter it since it was original.
Front grill repolished/repainted, headlight motors redone, relays upgraded. Headlights rotate, work without issue. High/low beams work. All blinkers work as well as taillights and brake lights.
The only lights that don’t work are the reverse lights.
Motor/transmission.
1967 Date code 440 block stroked to 500 with 440 Source kit and aluminum heads all painted Mopar Turquoise.
TTI headers with custom bent dual exhaust out the rear.
4 Speed transmission built by Brewers Performance with Hurst shifter.
Rear end has rebuilt sure grip with 3:23 gears, great for freeway cruising, but still has mega torque around town when needed.
Holley 850cfm 4BBL carb
Radiator has been re cored to 4 and moves plenty of water for cooling.
Electronic ignition hidden under battery tray.
Optima red top battery.
Mopar mini starter.
New fuel tank and lines.
All new gaskets/weatherstripping throughout car.
Heater box rebuilt and functioning.
Does have small oil leak from driver side valve cover. Needs new gasket. Will try to replace by auction end.

All items on this car were done right with the intention of having a fast car, looks stock except for a few items, can drive anywhere, and of course is a blast to drive.

The car has won multiple awards since completion and always gets plenty of interest.
This Charger needs nothing except someone to drive it and enjoy!!!

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

All shipping arrangements and costs responsibility of buyer. I will accommodate where I can to make it a smooth transaction. I have no idea what the costs are to ship the car.

$1000 non refundable deposit due at auction close.

Remainder of balance due before car leaves my hands. Must be paid via cashiers check or money order and “clear” before the car ships.

Mopar maneuvers into SEMA with a multitude of modified models

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

As the aftermarket and performance arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Mopar has a duty to extract everything from the company's models that it can, and there's no better place to show all of its work off than the annual SEMA Show.
Dodge really gets in on the act this year with several customs to show off different parts of the brand's performance heritage. Perhaps the most interesting among them is the track-prepped Viper ACR Concept (pictured above). It wears a custom body kit to produce even more downforce, thanks in no small part to a monstrous wing at the back. To shed weight, most of the interior is stripped out, as well. Next up, the Challenger T/A Concept takes inspiration from '70s Trans-Am racing in a livery of Sublime Green and matte black paint. The center scoop in the hood keeps the 6.4-liter V8 fed with cool air, and the special's 20-by-9.5-inch matte black wheels keep it planted in the corners.
Also getting the once-over from Mopar is the Charger R/T. It wears the division's body kit, and under the hood, a cold-air intake keeps the 5.7-liter V8 breathing. The suspension is retooled to hold the road better with a coil-over kit, upgraded sway bars and strut tower braces for the front and rear. The company is also showing off a snazzy blue Charger with a mean look. The final Dodge getting work from Mopar is the Dart R/T Concept with bright, O-So-Orange paint and a matte black hood with a scoop hooked directly to the air intake. The performance-oriented design is finished off with a coil-over suspension and big brake kit, as well.

An inside look at Mopar's SEMA fleet

Fri, 31 Oct 2014

Mopar is heading to the SEMA show in Las Vegas with a fleet of customized vehicles that appeal to enthusiasts of all stripes. There's a Dodge Viper ACR concept that follows in the lineage of the supercar's great road racing past, and a custom Ram ProMaster that might just be the ultimate outdoor party machine.
We got an inside look at Mopar's cars that will be on display at the show, which also include a Dodge Challenger T/A concept, two crazy Jeeps and a Ram 2500 Outdoorsman that could change the way you camp. While these are some of our favorites, Mopar is bringing plenty to SEMA, so let us know your top choices in the comments section.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat ringtone revs up [w/video]

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The best (or worst, depending on your views) thing about smartphones is that you're able to carry lots, and lots of useful stuff around in your pocket. That means you can always have a phone, messaging service, email, flashlight, calculator, dictionary, encyclopedia, and literally thousands of other things on your person at all times. Now, we can add one more thing for you to carry about in your little slab of aluminum, glass and plastic - a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Now, you obviously can't carry around a 707-horsepower muscle car around in your pocket. That'd be ridiculous, impractical and uncomfortable. You can, however, carry around the noise made by said muscle car's 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi V8, thanks to a new, free-to-download ringtone from the folks at Dodge and SRT.
We can't embed the ringtone here, so if you'd like to hear exactly how it'll sound when your phone goes off, you'll need to head over to the SRT Hellcat's page. If that's more trouble than it's worth, the same ringtone was attached to a tiny speaker on the press kit for the mighty Challenger, and was captured on video by our own Seyth Miersma (don't worry, he's already been soundly dressed down for shooting a video in portrait mode).
