2011 Dodge Challenger Sxt on 2040-cars

US $12,500.00
Year:2011 Mileage:27583
Location:

Rochester, Minnesota, United States

Rochester, Minnesota, United States

This is a vehicle I purchased before looking at it.  I was told all it needed was airbags a windshield and wheels and tires.  Well long story short it needs a little more than that.

I was told the car had just been painted, the entire car, and yeah it looks like it was painted, very poor body work and paintwork but has been painted.

The person told me they put a front hood, bumper and lights and a l fender which looks pretty close to the new parts that I see.

I just don't have time to finish this project.  I have 3 other Challengers I am working on and this one needs to go.

Well here is what I have done to the car.
New airbags new dash pad, seat belts, and buckle tensioners , airbag module, wheels and new tires.

This is what i can see it needs, (but not limited to):
4 wheel alignment
Front wheel liners installed (included just not installed yet)
Rocker molding
Traction control light on (don't know)
DIC says "service keyless system"  (don't know what that is)
Windshield
Possible redo body work and paint up to the new buyer if they want to do that
Front bumper wiring harness (included just needs installation)
Fog light pocket covers
Front end sheet metal realigned, doesn't have to be, but to be perfect it should.

It wouldn't take a whole lot to get it going and drive it the way it is.

Don't let all this scare you away it still is a very nice car, I am in the body business and I am stating what I would do if it were mine.

This vehicle does run and lot drive but I have not taken it for any distance.  So I would recommend it being towed, plus it has a broken Windshield.

I am a licensed MN Auto dealer, anything sold to a MN resident I must collect sales tax.

Any questions please message me.

Buyer is responsible for shipping, can assist, car will drive onto a trailer or truck.

Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

Watchers of the auto industry will notice a theme among the formerly bankrupted American automakers, General Motors and Chrysler. There are the post-bankruptcy vehicles, and the pre-bankruptcy vehicles. The former, in the case of Chrysler, include the Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as the 200 and 300. For GM, there's the Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Impala and Buick Encore, among others. These vehicles have the freshest styling, with sharp exteriors and well-crafted interiors, as well as advanced powertrains and well-sorted chassis.
As for the pre-bankruptcy vehicles, they tend to be easy to spot. Most suffer from inferior driving dynamics, cheaper interiors, poorer fuel economy and often homely looks (we know, there were some decent cars before the bankruptcy, but they were pretty heavily outweighed by the bad ones). Think late, last-generation Chevrolet Impala or Chrysler 200. Increasingly, though, we're seeing vehicles that split the balance between pre- and post-bankruptcy. Vehicles like the Dodge Journey.
The Journey debuted in 2007 as a 2008 model year vehicle, meaning it should fall into the latter category. But heavily breathed upon in 2011, it now enjoys a new, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a big, critically acclaimed touchscreen display and in the case of today's tester, a new-for-2014 Crossroad spec.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
