Selling my Challenger RT, will be upgrading to a 2015 6.4L! I had it from 4k miles and it's been a blast, it's fast with gobs of low end torque & with a tune it'll be a whole different beast. It gets great Mpg for what it is with the K&N Air Filter I installed. It has a very loud growl like a Hemi should with the custom exhaust I had installed as well, with the 180 Thermostat the Hemi runs very cool!!
Almost close to hitting 12k miles and its not even broken in yet, not until another 10k+ miles! Growls on the 1st start at all times & the trans shifts right on time. The brakes stop on a dime and I had the Calipers painted Red with 'Challenger' decals applied, looks very nice. Installed Amber & Red Led Bulbs in the side markers, Blue Led Bulbs in the Interior, Trunk, & License Plate. The 2008 Srt8 Chin Spoiler gives it a more aggressive look along with the Mopar 10 Hood Badge and Front License! I had the car wired for Trunk Subwoofers and installed some 6x9 Boston Acoustic Speakers in the doors, sound a lot better and can easily drown out the loud growl by turning the volume up to 20. I had Mopar Tints installed to keep the heat out of the cabin, Custom black & red Hemi floor mats. I had some 24s on it but I replaced them with some 16'' Chrome Oem Chrysler Wheels to get better gas mileage. Registration good until FEB 2015.
*Note: I noticed it states a Accident been reported in 2012 & 2013...That's completely false, I never reported a accident since I owned it. DMV Records will prove it.

-Condition:
1. Interior 9/10 - Back Seats and floor looks new. Front seats look good as well, It is missing the radio left knob cover.
2. Exterior 7.5/10 - Paint Chip on the front left the sz of a golfball, a few scratches & cracks on the left rear fender & door. It was Hemi Orange from factory. Missing the Door Lock Cylinder, cost about $45.
The rear tires will need replaced. Horn works but is not very loud due to missing one prong, can easily be repaired.
I have a few vids I taken in 12 & 13 that I'll send you if you'd like.

-Features:
Power Driver Seat, Adjustable Steering Wheel, Auto Interior Illumination, Usb or Charge Port in the Armrest, Auto Down on the Windows, Power Side Mirrors.

-History:
I had it for about 3 yrs, purchased it for $20k from I believe to be the 3rd owner as his wife were the 2nd. He had purchased it from a Salvage Auction somewhere in North Ca & put $7500 into rebuilding it, it was hit on the left side near the side mirror, had nearly 2k miles at the time.

-Payment:
I'll take Paypal Only. If you want it shipped I'll be glad to help you out but you will have to pay the shipping fee.

Autonomous tech will drive motorheads off the road

Thu, Nov 9 2017

While autonomous technology could make car travel much safer and more efficient — and automakers and marketers are salivating over the prospect of a "passenger economy" that could potentially generate $7 trillion by 2050 — those of us who enjoy driving are not so stoked. Experts have predicted that as autonomous vehicles are deployed in large numbers, human-driven cars eventually could be outlawed on public roads due to the carnage they create, which is currently more than 41,000 deaths a year in the U.S. alone and climbing. Such scenarios have driving enthusiasts envisioning a "Red Barchetta" style nightmare becoming reality, making Rush lyricist Neil Peart a clairvoyant as well as one of rock's most badass skin-pounders. But there could be a couple of refuges left for motorheads, and they won't be on public roads. As Popular Science's Joe Brown points out in a recent editorial, we're seeing a wave of vehicles being offered by legit mainstream automakers that aren't made for public roads. The poster child of this vanguard is the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, which comes with a crate full of goodies that lets you turn the already formidable street-legal muscle car into a drag-strip dominator. Brown also notes that two out of five of the Ford GT's driving modes are for use on the track, "catering to the $450,000 machine's club-racing clientele." We're also currently enjoying the heyday of production off-road-ready pickups that kicked off with the Ford Raptor in 2009. The latest salvo in this escalating war of overachieving trucks is the Chevy Colorado ZR2 that can take on the likes of California's Rubicon Trail without issue. Brown also gives a shout-out to his magazine's Grand Award Winner, the Alta Motors Redshift MX, which "isn't even allowed on public roads" and is "meant for bombing around motocross tracks, big backyards and single-track woods trails." If you follow Brown on Instagram, you know that he's also a two-wheel aficionado, and he points out that sales of off-road bikes are leaving street machines in the dust. Sales of off-highway motorcycles rose 29 percent between 2012 and 2016, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council — compared to 6 percent for road-bike sales during the same period. "That's a nearly 400-percent drubbing," Brown remarks.

Best car infotainment systems of 2022

Wed, Jul 20 2022

Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried them all what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. Some prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based with a simplistic user interface. Others may prefer a non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some folks prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best overall: UConnect — Various Stellantis products If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. Both UConnect 4 and the latest UConnect 5 software are included in this praise, too. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu. We like the radio/media interface — itÂ’s super easy to swap stations or sources. The menu structure is easy to grasp, and of course both Apple CarPlay/Android Auto are available if you want them. UConnect 5 is a big visual improvement over UConnect 4, but thankfully it retains the same ease of use as the outgoing system. WeÂ’ll also point out that Stellantis is able to adapt UConnect to different screen shapes and sizes with great success — it works stunningly well in the vertical 12-inch screen of the Ram.

Get a peek at the Dodge Demon in the new Fate of the Furious trailer

Thu, Mar 2 2017

Will all of the news that comes out, Thursdays should now be referred to as Demon Days (no relation to the 2005 album by Gorillaz), at least until April. In addition to this morning's news on the Dodge Demon's Launch Assist and beefed-up components, the automaker released a trailer/commercial for The Fate of the Furious that shows a Dodge barrage and a few quick looks at the new car. The film, which opens days after the Demon's debut at the 2017 New York International Auto Show, is packed full of Dodge, SRT, and FCA products. While the few cars shown in the garage look superficially like Demons, they appear to just be standard Hellcats – the hood is wrong, and they are missing the fender flares. On the other hand, the ones in the trailer's chase scene appear to be the real deal, or at least made to look like it, with the big AirGrabber hood scoop and wide-body fender flares. We've seen a few of these cars already on the film's set, so this is no real surprise. The ad itself is a bit strange. The shots of the woman standing in front of the SRT lineup appear to be cut into footage from the film, so she's not actually talking to the cast in these scenes. That's why a narrow-body car bursts through the wall and becomes a wide-body Demon-like thing. Well, the Fast and Furious franchise was built on bad dialog and over the top car stunts, so par for the course? The film debuts on April 14, and expect the Demon around that time, too.
