This 1973 Dodge Challenger was built for cruising and showing, it looks fantastic and runs really well with no issues. I am listing this car for a fellow club member who only desires to move on to another project. You will not be disappointed if you are the lucky winner. The car cruises with ease and is very fast. The engine is a 360, with a 273 rear and 2800 stall converter. The interior is original with no tears or fading. The Challengers are getting very hard to find in this condition. All the chrome and bright work in very good condition and the paint also. The tires are about 95% , all gauges are in working order, no rust. If you want a classic you can get in and cruise right away, this is it. The engine and transmission have about 15k since rebuild. The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

With filming for Fast 8, the eighth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, well underway, we've gotten some sneak peeks into the actors' vehicles. Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, will once again get behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger. The Charger, which was revealed as Toretto's ride in Iceland, has been heavily modified and even features a jet turbine. While the V8 sounds amazing, there's no word on what engine lurks behind the Charger's hood.
