This beauty has undergone a high-end professional restoration of 100% of all its interior, exterior and mechanical components.  100% original metal and glass, except for front windshield.  NO METAL HAS BEEN REPLACED ON THIS CAR.  All original panels.  The upper body, engine compartment and interior have been completely restored to exacting standards.  This vehicle is in 90% of its original factory configuration.  It is of above quality, workmanship and condition.  Of the 3,679 cars produced it is extremely rare to find an example of this make and model in so well preserved and in unmolested condition.  We are placing the 350 emblems on hood and back of car at this time.  Frond disk power brakes and power steering.

This car sat for 15 years in Palm Springs, California in a backyard.  The original owner had us do the media blasting and put into primer.  Unfortunately, he was faced with some medical issues so he sold the car.  We purchased the car and a year later we had this beauty completed.

Everything on the car that is original to this car has been rebuilt, items such as carpet, headliner, seat covers or obviously aftermarket, this is why the car is 90% restored to original because of the aftermarket items that we are forced to use.

Again, everything on this car is restored.  Ralley gauges are from Red Line Gauges located in Canyon Country, California.

The dash cap is from Just Dashes.  The engine was built by the legendary Hemi builder Jim Shewbert located in Mojave, California.  The engine was put back together with its original components except for the cam was changed out for something with a little bit of a lobe.  Transmission is by Pro Trans located in Palm Dale, California.  The rear end is by Richard Burley of B&W Automotive.  Rear end restored with original gears.  Paint, PPG Materials. The stainless and trim on this car have been polished.   This car has an absolute glass mirror finish.  Absolutely beautiful!  I know it should still have a vinyl roof, and it still can, but it looks so good without it, we left it off until the buyer decides what he/she wants.

This car is mint!  See photos of teardown and as we built it.

1968 Dodge D200 'Lowliner' adds low-down diesel torque to a lowrider

Wed, Oct 30 2019

When Mopar does a custom classic car, it's always spectacular, whether it's a Dodge muscle car like the 1,000-horsepower Super Charger or the monster Jeep Five-Quarter off-road pickup. For SEMA this year, Mopar skipped another Dodge sports coupe in favor of a 1968 Dodge D200 pickup truck done up as a lowrider, but with a twist. Or more accurately, with lots of twist. Under the gorgeous candy red metallic body is a 5.9-liter 24-valve Cummins turbodiesel straight-six. It makes an estimated 325 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque, and it's paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Representatives from Chrysler estimated the weight of the engine and transmission alone at 1,100 pounds. The diesel engine's power goes to the rear wheels, which are 22 inches in diameter and 11 inches wide with fat 325-mm tires. The front wheels are a tad narrower at 9.5 inches. 1968 Dodge D200 View 7 Photos As cool as the powertrain is, the exterior and the interior of the truck can't be ignored. This generation of Dodge pickup is already intriguing with its distinct character line with a little kink at the end and ribbed and louvered hood. These unique styling cues are accented now that Dodge removed various other details from the body such as the door handles, metallic trim and such. The bumpers were also reshaped to better fit the contours of the body, and the front wheels were pushed forward to reduce the long overhang of the stock truck. The bumpers, grille, and "smoothie" style alloy wheels were also painted in a solid cream color rather than chrome, which both accents the deep red body and gives the truck a more workmanlike feel, as low-trim cars typically had painted trim instead of chrome or stainless steel. The red paint also features subtle Cummins logos on the fenders and Dodge block lettering on the tailgate. The interior continues the simple and classy theme. The original bench seat remains, but with saddle brown leather upholstery. Leather trim has been added throughout, and exposed metal parts have been painted in the same color as the exterior. Simple gray cloth floor mats cover the bottom of the cab, and the instrument panel uses new Mopar gauges in a machine-turned metal housing. The original steering wheel remains, but a custom shifter with red Cummins shift knob sticks through the floor.

2020 Dodge Charger pricing starts at $31,390

Fri, Sep 27 2019

We've been talking about the 2020 Dodge Charger for three months, and it's finally time to start doing the math on trade-in values and loan payments. The 2020 Charger lineup starts with the SXT in rear-wheel-drive trim priced at $29,895, plus a $1,495 destination charge for a total of $31,390. That's a $425 bump over the 2019 model. The rest of the range doesn't get a price bump higher than $250 save for the Hellcat Widebody. The 2019 Charger didn't offer Widebody variants, so those are new for 2020. The lineup with MSRP changes from 2019: Charger GT RWD $33,390 ($150 more than 2019) Charger SXT AWD $35,090 ($25 more) Charger R/T $37,890 ($150 more) Charger Scat Pack $41,490 ($250 less) Charger Scat Pack Widebody $47,490 (brand new model) Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody $71,140 ($2,150 more than 2019 non-widebody) Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition $75,635 (brand new model) There's a price differential of $44,245 from bottom to top. Even more relevant to the Charger faithful, there's a displacement and power differential from the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 in the SXT with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 in the Charger Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition with 717 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Dodge plumps the Scat Pack in the middle as having the "most horsepower per dollar," with its 392-cubic-inch Hemi V8 pumping 485 hp and 475 lb-ft. In the amusement park business, this is what's called "Fun for everyone." The Scat Pack Widebody makes a break from its standard sibling with stiffer springs, larger sway bars, and shocks, and retuned dampers. Changes throughout the rest of the lineup save for the SXT center on new wheel and tire options, and an updated Performance Handling Group on the GT and R/T trims. The 2020 Charger order book opens in the fall, but America's family-friendly muscle car won't start hitting dealer lots until early 2020.
