Welcome and thank you for taking the time to look at my latest auction.
Today am proud to offer this incredible fully restored and documented 1970 Dodge Challenger RT.

This stunning Mopar has undergone a full blown nut and bolt rotisserie restoration involving over 2,000 hours.
A great amount of time and money  was spend on detail and finish.
This Dodge is totally documented through Fender Tag, Original Broadcast Sheet and Galen V. Govier  in  2012.
The car is a true V-Code 440 6-Pack.

These were among some of the rarest American Muscle Cars to have roamed the open roads in the 1970's and after 43 years they have become true legends of there time.

Most of the car's restoration process involved tracking down Original NOS Parts & Equipment.
Only addition to it's originality was  the installation of a factory Shaker Hood Option. ( Personal Choice )

The car is restored as to it's documentation. So this is the car as it rolled off the assembly line.
Truly a stunning investment collector car in today's market value.

NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged

Fri, 23 May 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.

2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat gets a Challenger-style intake in the grille

Wed, May 9 2018

Yesterday, we discovered that Dodge was working on some sort of update to the nose of the Charger Hellcat. Today, Dodge revealed what the change is. It's a new grille with an intake outlet. Basically, the 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will have the equivalent of the Challenger Hellcat's intake headlight. But since there isn't a convenient light to cut a hole in, Dodge just put a bigger hole in the grille next to the driver's side headlight. Presumably it leads right to the intake box like the intake on the Challenger. Close examination also reveals that the mesh has changed, as well. The 2019 model's grille has a bit more detail, and the openings are more round than the current model. No other aspects of the updated model have been revealed, but those details should come when the car is fully revealed this summer, along with the new Challenger. FCA and Cummins named in diesel emissions class-action lawsuit

Mon, Nov 14 2016

Chrysler is now the first United States-based carmaker to be sued for allegedly skewing emissions results. In a move that sounds eerily similar to the troubles of European manufacturers, Chrysler is claimed to have hid diesel engine characteristics causing emissions as much as 14 times higher than permitted by regulations. According to Bloomberg, the lawsuit alleges that Chrysler, together with its diesel engine partner Cummins, has concealed the nitrogen oxide output of certain Ram vehicles produced between 2007 and 2012. The NOx pollutants were meant to be broken down in a process called regeneration in the truck's NAC system, or NOx Absorption Catalyst, which predated the 2013-introduced SCR, or Selective Catalytic Reduction system. By design, the NAC captures and stores NOx emissions, converting them to nitrogen and oxygen through a catalytic process. The lawsuit claims the Cummins engine's system has a limited capacity to store the emissions, and as a result the pollutants escape, increasing emissions, worsening fuel consumption and wearing down the catalytic converter. The later, cleaner SCR system uses a urea-water injection, and it gradually replaced the NAC on Cummins 6.7-liter engines, as it was first implemented in 2011 and made standard in 2013. As Bloomberg notes, the model years of Ram trucks involved in the lawsuit predate the earliest Volkswagen "Dieselgate" models by two years. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of 500,000 truck owners, accuses Chrysler and Cummins of fraud, false advertising and racketeering. As an underlying motive, the filing mentions a 2001 change in EPA emissions standards. Announced to become effective in 2010, the EPA requirements drove Chrysler and Cummins to try and reach those already by 2007. However, the NAC system is said to have fallen short of these goals, and the filing claims that Chrysler and Cummins chose to "rig" the engines instead. The affected vehicles predate the 2014 merger of Chrysler and Fiat. FCA US has released a statement regarding the lawsuit, saying it will contest the lawsuit "vigorously".
