1970 Dodge Challenger R/T original 383, 727 transmission rebuilt approximately 500 miles ago when I purchased car 10 years ago.
I am the second owner the car was a barn find and is totally original except ignition and carburetor.
Car is extremely solid in floor, trunk, rear and front panels, subframe is straight and solid. Interior is in great condition. Rally's instrument cluster with rim blown steering wheel. Some minor surface rust only. I have the fender tag that matches and broadcast sheet that was in the driver side door when I purchased the car. The car has the heavy duty big block R/T suspension with rear end that has 4:10 gears. Paint is starting to fade a little however the body is all metal with zero body rot. This car runs extremely strong and shifts fantastic. This challenger is very reliable and a strong running and solid car.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat revving is sonic bacon
Fri, 23 May 2014This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.

NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication
Tue, 28 Oct 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers

But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...
