For sale is our friends 1987 Dodge Caravan Handicap Minivan. She no longer has use for it as she has purchased a later model handicap van from a local private seller. The van has low original miles and drives without any problems. The tires have lots of tread. The paint is poor. The body has some dings and minor dents typical of a vehicle of this age. There are some rust bubbles coming through the paint at the bottom of the power side door. I believe this is due to a lack of weep holes or poor design by the conversion company as this is a custom part. There is no other rust on the vehicle. The A/C has been converted from R12 refrigerant (which is very expensive and hard to find) to R134 refrigerant and blows cold but not ice cold. The power handicap door and ramp work as they should. I have no idea of what happened to the passenger's front seat, but this is the area that our friend parked her power chair when we chauffeured her around town. 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

2013 Dodge Dart gets all Moparized
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Last year, Chrysler announced it would be offering more than 150 Mopar parts and accessories on the 2013 Dodge Dart, and we got a look at some of these parts firsthand at the Chicago Auto Show. Showing off all the optional parts at once would surely create a gaudy monstrosity, so Chrysler chose to equip this particular Dart GT with just a handful of Mopar goodies, which still gave the car a nice and tasteful custom look that is available straight from the dealership (and with a full warranty, too).
Decked out in a factory color called Header Orange Clear Coat - also a very appropriate show car hue - this car added exterior styling parts such as the vented, carbon fiber hood, the bolt-on front chin spoiler and a matte black decklid spoiler. Looking inside the car, you'd think the red-accented interior is part of the Mopar parts bin, too, but this is actually what the standard Dart GT cabin will look like when it goes on sale.
