There are some small scuff marks on the drivers side taillight and the paint around it, I tried to show this in the photos. Other than that just normal wear and tear to the paint, the interior is nearly pristine"

We are offering our well maintained 2007 Chrysler Town and Country Limited minivan for sale.  The car does have a lot of miles, but they are mostly highway miles and the car has never given us any trouble.  It is in near perfect condition cosmetically with the exception of the small scuff marks on the drivers side tail light and surrounding paint which is difficult to see but I tried to show in the photo.  Everything works but we did not update the navigation disc after the 2cnd one so it is probably 3 years old and we do not currently have a subscription to Sirius.  This was the dealer demo model so it is loaded with all the bells and whistles.  It has power everything, bluetooth, navigation, satellite radio, power sunroof, trailer tow package, cd/dvd  player, sun roof, leather heated seats, backup sensor,  stow-n-go seats, cruise, three zone air conditioning, and much much more.  Check out the photo, which is the original window sticker, and if you have any specific questions don't be afraid to ask.   We have taken this car on many family vacations and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere still.   We are offering it at a low reserve and I am sure it will give someone many more miles of worry free driving.

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.

Italian government to lean on Fiat's Marchionne to commit to country

Sun, 26 May 2013

With the recent chatter that Fiat is looking to move its global headquarters to the US following a complete merger with Chrysler, the Italian government is voicing its opinion on the matter. Facing the potential job loss from the automaker leaving the country, Italy's industry minister is meeting with Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne in what will likely be a plea to keep the company based in Turin rather than moving to Auburn Hills, MI - if indeed it is able to acquire the additional 41.5 percent of Chrysler currently owned by the United Auto Workers.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat is Italy's biggest private employer and unemployment is already nearing a 20-year high. The non-car side of Fiat, Fiat Industrial, is already planning a move to the UK, so it goes without saying that Fiat moving would be a pretty big blow for the Italian economy. In the article, Fiat says that the headquarters issue is "not on its agenda now," but that statement is far from a denial.

Court ruling to delay Fiat's Chrysler buyout?

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

We've already reported on the attempts of Fiat to purchase the remaining 41.5-percent stake in Chrysler, currently owned by the United Auto Workers' VEBA healthcare trust. And while the issues still aren't resolved, Fiat has received both a bit of good news and a bit of bad news from a Delaware judge.
The good news is that the court ruled in favor on two key arguments of Fiat's, relating to what is a fair price for the Chrysler shares. The rulings essentially slash half a billion dollars off the price of the 54,000 shares owned by VEBA, according to a report from Reuters.
The bad news is that this makes the UAW an even more difficult opponent in negotiations. Its VEBA fund is meant to cover ever escalating retiree healthcare costs, so naturally, the UAW wants to get as much money as possible. Losing a big chunk of cash isn't likely to make the union more cooperative.
