2003 Chrysler Town & Country Limited Mini-van Silver Leather Loaded on 2040-cars
Lakeland, Florida, United States
|
I have owned this excellent 2003 Chrysler Town & Country LIMITED MiniVan for 4 years. It has performed flawlessly as my "grocery-getter" and "everything-hauler". I have now purchased a pickup truck and no longer need the van. So, come on - bid your best - fly in and drive it home.
As mentioned before, this is not a perfect vehicle. It has dents, dings, scratches, etc. from 11 years of use. It has 2 new tires and a new battery. The side doors will sometimes work with the hand-held remote - sometimes not. All other power options work great, including the rear A/C. A/C blows cold; heat blows hot. Cruise works great. Stereo sounds nice and CD player works. Radio controls are on the steering wheel and they work. Heated seats work great. Well-maintained. Will include maintenance records with the vehicle. Has the optional Chrome wheels from the factory. Feel free to call with any question other than the amount of the reserve. I'll never divulge that. But, you will discover that it is set below Kelly Blue Book; NADA and Edmunds. My number: 863.899.9115. Send your mechanic to come and take a look at it and drive it. Or, come see it yourself. Van is located in Lakeland, Florida 33812. NOTE: I am NOT able to pick you up at the airport if you choose to fly in. Tampa or Orlando International Airports are about 1 hour from my home - either airport is about the same distance. A taxi ride is about $90 to $120 to get here from the airport. |

Merged Fiat-Chrysler HQ will be in London
Fri, 09 May 2014You won't be seeing Sergio Marchionne in his famous sweaters running day-to-day operations of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from Michigan. Although, he won't be doing it from Italy, either. The FCA CEO recently announced that the company's corporate headquarters would be located in London.
"Headquarters will be in London. It's clear that group executive functions, the board, my office, some of my functions, need to operate out of London, but that doesn't mean that I'm giving up my operational responsibilities of the US," said Marchionne to Automotive News at a press conference.
When the creation of FCA was announced, the company said its tax domicile would be in the United Kingdom. But it gave no specific location at that time. The business is still keeping most of the details under wraps.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
Marchionne's pay as Fiat CEO falls to $5M
Wed, 12 Mar 2014Sergio Marchionne will be buying fewer of his iconic sweaters, as his 2013 pay from Fiat took a dip from $6.24 million to an even $5 million. Marchionne, who was also CEO of Chrysler, made $307,989 thanks to some stocks and benefits from the American company, although he didn't take a salary. Of that $5 million paid by Fiat, $3.19 million came from Marchionne's fixed salary while the remaining $1.8 million was paid for hitting unspecified performance targets.
The news comes from Fiat's compensation reports, which also showed that the 61-year-old, who already owned three million shares in Fiat at the end of 2013, was able to receive an additional 2.3 million shares through a stock incentive program. According to Automotive News Europe, the additional shares would be worth about $25 million at today's prices, although so far, Marchionne has declined to claim the extra shares.
According to ANE, Fiat reported a 2013 trading profit of $4.7 billion.
