1973 Chrysler New Yorker
One owner Nevada car, sold new in Reno, spent 39 years in Fallon Nv. 23,050 original miles, 440, automatic. The car has been garaged the last 25 years. Engine/trans original to the car & never been tinkered with. Original Thermoquad carb, distributor, etc. Recent tune up w/ carb kit, plugs, wires & oil change. Replaced the fuel pump & hoses & belts for reliability. New true dual exhaust system & new radial tires (I have the original Goodyear white wall bias ply tires off the car). Never been in an accident, the original paint is in very good condition & will buff/clean up nicely. The stainless & aluminum trim as well as the bumpers are in excellent condition, these items will also hand polish nicely with little effort. Interior is in very nice condition, there are 3 items that are not excellent - steering wheel has cracks, dash pad has 1 crack on the drivers side (not noticeable from the inside), rear seat has a small tear on the drivers side bottom cushion. The following accessories work excellent: Power windows, power seat, power door locks, delay headlamps, cruise control, automatic e-brake release, rim blow horn, seat belt buzzers, all accessories lighting, AM/FM radio & the 8 track plays excellent. The following accessories need work to function properly: AC system is low on gas, power antenna. I found the Chrysler IBM punch card folded up & in the passenger side ash tray, most likely where it was placed 40 years ago on the assembly line. Neither ash tray has ever been used. The car starts, runs & drives excellent, it's a pleasure to drive, really floats down the road at 80.
I have a clear Nevada title for the vehicle in my name. The car is located in Fruitland, ID. The vehicle is sold "AS IS / WHERE IS", there is no warranty expressed nor implied. I'm quite confident you could drive it home with no problems. Shipping is the purchasers responsibility. Shipping ZIP is 83619.
$100 PayPal deposit required of the winning bidder within 48 hrs of auctions close. Balance to be paid in full by cash only. ***You can arrive with a cashiers check in your name, pre-cleared by a local bank in our area, cash the check & hand me the cash as I hand you the title***

You can own Don Draper's 1964 Imperial Crown Convertible
Tue, May 24 2016In AMC's Mad Men Jon Hamm's character may have been a jerk, but Don Draper's 1964 Imperial Crown Convertible is fantastic. One of just 922 droptop Imperials built for 1964, Draper's land yacht is up for auction as part of a broader sale of Mad Men props. Alongside stuff like Roger Sterling's Ray-Bans or Draper's copy of Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the big Imperial is the undisputed star of the show. According to the auction page, fewer than 200 exist today, meaning that even without its Hollywood provenance, this is an exceedingly rare vehicle. Under hood, there's a 413-cubic-inch V8 wedge mated up to a push-button, three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Typical of a big, 1960s luxury vehicle, the Imperial gets power steering, power brakes, and power windows. Even the roof is electric. Cosmetically, the auction site claims Draper's convertible was repainted once, 20 years ago, going from a "drab" Roman Dark Red to today's California Red. In the interior, the only change are new carpets. This isn't the first time Draper's Imperial has crossed the auction block. It sold at a Palm Springs auction in February 2015 for just $23,625, before a St. Louis dealership listed it on eBay for $39,900 less than a month later. That online listing has long since disappeared, so there's no telling if it actually sold or not before being listed as part of this latest auction. Regardless, with fewer than 1,000 made, fewer than 200 in existence, a credit on a critically acclaimed TV show, and a history of reasonable sale prices, this is one big, 1960s land yacht worth considering. The auction starts on June 1 and runs through June 15. Related Video:
2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid | Mountain road / fuel economy review
Fri, Nov 9 2018PORTLAND, Ore. — I don't have children, which makes it a wee bit difficult to fully appreciate and evaluate every nuance of the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. I'll leave that to Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore and any other proud parents at Michigan HQ where the long-term and extremely blue Pacifica resides. However, with an extremely beige Pacifica Hybrid in my driveway this week, I figured I could tackle something that's difficult to fully evaluate in the Mitten State: mountain road driving. You know, that thing families totally care about, right after safety ratings and cupholder count. ... Or not. Again, no kids. Admittedly, putting it through a fuel economy test seems more useful, so I did that too. Now, typically, minivans are huge boxes with a stratospheric center of gravity courtesy a whole bunch of steel, a whole bunch of panoramic sunroof glass, and a whole bunch of air ducting packed into the roof. This leads to a rather tippy driving experience that's exacerbated by a soft suspension intended to provide pillow-like comfort for the kiddos in the back. . This would apply to the regular Pacifica, but the Hybrid, it's different. Stuffed into the area where the Stow 'n Go seats would normally stow and go into, this plug-in hybrid's 96-cell lithium-ion battery pack is smack dab in the middle of the van and quite low to the ground. It's exactly where you'd want to stuff 568 extra pounds to counteract all that weight up high. It also settles that suspension down, resulting in a minivan that feels more buttoned down and poised with minimal rebound over bumps. Body roll is even kept nicely in check. This, despite balloonier, higher-profile tires than what you'd get in a comparable regular Pacifica. The steering could still use just a smidge more effort upon turn-in, but remains more reassuring and engaging than Honda's disappointingly loosey-goosey steering. Throttle response is different in the Pacifica Hybrid as well, providing ultra-smooth and torque-rich electric power delivery reminiscent of an EV. Even when the all-electric range has been depleted, the Pacifica Hybrid continues to feel more like an electric car than one that also has a gasoline engine aboard. It certainly helps that that engine is a smooth 3.6-liter V6 rather than a buzzy four-cylinder bound to make a racket. Unless you really gun the thing, it's difficult to detect when puttering around town or at a steady highway cruise. In total, the Pacifica Hybrid is better to drive.
We aren't the only ones who want a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat
Wed, Jan 27 2016Yes, you read that correctly: Chrysler. Pacifica. Hellcat. We want one. It's definitely not happening. But that doesn't mean we – and the FCA designers – can't dream, right? That's what led to this sketch, posted on Instagram by Fiat-Chrysler design boss Ralph Gilles. It looks pretty sweet, including that hella important wing for maximum downforce, yo. As long as we're dreaming, we've got a few other requests. Let's put that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 in the middle of the van. Screw the Stow 'N Go seats – let's get that engine mounted as low in the car's midsection as possible. And while we're at it, let's go for rear-wheel drive. And a six-speed manual transmission. And a third row of seats behind the engine, but rear-facing, so we can make our friends puke. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. In all seriousness, we're looking forward to driving the regular Pacifica when it launches this Spring. To refresh your memory, it's a totally new van, and will even be offered in Hybrid spec with an 80-mile-per-gallon-equivalent rating. Sounds impressive. Oh, heck. Hellcats > Hybrids. Ralph, we urge you to make this one a reality. Related Video:
