1978 Chrysler Lebaron Base Sedan 4-door 5.2l on 2040-cars
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Ok eBayers what we have here is a 1978 Chrysler Lebanon with only 26000 miles.
I bought this in October of last year from a gentleman who had bought it at an estate sale with only 21000 miles on the odometer. He did nothing with it but stick it in storage just like the person before him. I bought from him installed new plug wires, plugs, cap, & rotor! Then took it out for a test drive and it still ran crappy, after further research I discovered that the lean burn system was no longer working! I found that is was better to replace it with the factory standard electronic ignition (Orange box) system. This made it run like new:-) I then ran a tank of E85 through it, I thank there was a little water in the tank. Now it runs darn near perfect. Because it sat for awhile, the brakes were a bit sticky but after driving it they got a lot better but not perfect. The Chrysler was equipped with power brakes, power steering, power locks, air conditioning, rear defogger and they all work great. The Chrysler had an AM radio only from the factory but I upgraded to a like new factory AM/FM. The Chrysler still has it's factory tires on it and the spare has never been on the ground. I have $3500.00 in this car but I plan on getting married soon so what ever you eBayers give me over $1500.00 is what it sells for. This is a very dependable car you can fly in and drive out. I would like to add that this car is around 36 years old some of the oil seals are old and could use replacing. Also there are a few hail dents not bad at all and only a few on the hood and deck led only the roof was vinyl padded I got an estament it was around $200 work the dings out with out repainting. I'd also like to add that these cars have inherent wiper problems. I upgraded the wiper system to eliminate the factory flaw. NO EVER SEA BIDS USA AND CANADA ONLY, ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING |

Chrysler highlights Mopar lineup for SEMA
Wed, 30 Oct 2013SEMA is all about aftermarket parts, and in Auburn Hills that all comes down to one name: Mopar. After having previewed its lineup for this year's Vegas tuner expo earlier this month, Chrysler has now revealed what may not quite be its full dossier of modified show cars, but a good portion of them.
All told Mopar is preparing 20 vehicles for display at SEMA this year. Among them you'll find the Ram Sun Chaser, a 1500 Quad Cab show truck kitted out in two-tone orange and black paint, a roof rack for surfboards, onboard shower and convertible tailgate. The white Fiat 500L is called the Adventurer and is modified for a more rugged look that could hint at the upcoming crossover version. The Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver upgrades on the Trailhawk package with everything from roof basket to rock rails. To counterbalance the off-roaders, there's also a modified Chrysler 300S with a deep black paint job, special grille, Varvatos-edition wheels and more.
All four concepts details so far have Katzkin interiors as well, and there's also an unspecified Dodge Durango with a storm-trooper look in the gallery above. But for more details on what Mopar has installed on the Ram, 500L, Cherokee and 300, you'll want to delve into the press release below.
Chrysler defies NHTSA, says it won't recall 2.7M Jeep Grand Cherokee, Liberty models
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Facing a possible recall totaling around 2.7 million of its most popular SUVs, Chrysler remains insistent that the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty are safe vehicles. This comes on the heels of a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for these two models due to fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axle, which could possibly be ruptured during severe rear-end collisions, leading to an increased risk of fire. In response to the allegations, Chrysler says that it does not agree with NHTSA nor does it plan on recalling either vehicle.
Chrysler said both SUVs "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity, and cooperated fully with NHTSA since the investigation was opened in 2010. While 15 deaths and 46 injuries have been reported from fires caused by rear-end collisions on these models, Chrysler is claiming that the vast majority of incidents cited by NHTSA were "high-energy crashes," including one where a stopped Grand Cherokee was rear-ended by a tractor trailer going 65 miles per hour.
The automaker wraps up by saying "NHTSA seems to be holding Chrysler Group to a new standard for fuel tank integrity that does not exist now and did not exist when the Jeep vehicles were manufactured." Scroll down for Chrysler's official response to NHTSA, but we're pretty sure this isn't the last we've heard on this issue.
2015 Chrysler 300 looks to recapture its mojo in LA
Wed, 19 Nov 2014Chrysler's 300 sedan has never been a shrinking violet, but it arguably lost a bit of swagger when its second-generation model bowed. There was no way that an evolutionary design could ever upend the automotive establishment the way the original 2005 model did, but even so, something was clearly left on the table when the 2011 model bowed.
You don't have take our word for it - Chrysler knows it, too. Reflecting back upon the second-generation model's styling today, Ralph Gilles, Chrysler's senior vice president of design is refreshingly candid, telling Autoblog, "Our previous generation of leaders didn't understand the car very well, and kind of forced this front end on us." For 2015, Gilles and Co. have worked to recapture some of the 2005 design's lightning in a bottle. In Gilles' words, the brief for the refreshed 2015 model was to "give the car the attitude it deserves... up the attitude, up the presence."
Visually, the new 300 initially appears very similar to the current car, but closer inspection and side-by-side comparisons reveal countless changes, the most noticeable being a much larger front grille (by about 30 percent), redone light fixtures and a 'Mobius-strip' lower fascia that picks up where the new 200 left off. The cabin has been upgraded, too, with a standard seven-inch display in the gauge cluster, the latest UConnect infotainment system and improved material choices.
