Completely Smoke Free Car - Always Garaged

Only Two Owners

Description:

A two-owner car, the first was a Chrysler Headquarters Executive that used it very little over the three years he had it.  I purchased it with 6,400 miles on it in 2008.  I have put the balance of its miles on the highway (non stop & go traffic).  This car has been garaged and a non-smoker vehicle.  Additions have been and will be included within this sale are the following:

- Wind Deflector, which cuts down the cockpit wind at highway speeds (see photos).

- Sheepskin seat covers (charcoal).

- High performance K&N style air filters.

- Carbon-fiber interior trim.

- Carbon-fiber shifter knob (original included).

- Carbon-fiber stubby radio antenna (original included).

- New (and original) floor mats.

- Chrysler OEM replacement convertible soft-top.  Chrysler did a one-time replacement since they had a batch of soft-tops that had substandard rear window mount procedures.

This Crossfire comes with two original Chrysler key fobs, the complete owners manuals for this car, all historical maintenance records, the original and a set of aftermarket floor mats, original roadside flat tire repair kit.

This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance A cycle and oil/filter change was just completed.

The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and glossy and all the body lines are smooth. The paint shines like glass and you can see your reflection in it. The body is in above average condition and there are no major blemishes on this vehicle. Only minor normal wear and tear from the elements. The car shows extremely well.

The interior of the vehicle is super clean. The seats have no rips and the leather is supple. The dash and door panels are also very nice and clean.

This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle is being sold with a CLEAN TITLE. It is the buyers’ responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering and titling in their state. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. Hundreds of Detroit residents line up to ride in autonomous cars

Sat, Apr 6 2019

DETROIT — Members of the public got the chance Friday to take a free ride in a self-driving vehicle as part of an effort to clear up confusion about the technology. Hundreds signed up for the 6-minute journey that led riders through a course set up inside a Detroit convention center. Mary Van Der Maas heard about the opportunity on the radio and decided to give it a shot. The 73-year-old retiree from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, hopped into an autonomous Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan, and off she went. "I think that it's just ignorance that keeps us from wanting to do this. And once you experience it, it's marvelous," she said afterward. Daniel Schroeder, 17, said he "thought it was interesting how the car knew its route." "And then it could identify things in the road," said the high school junior from Troy, Michigan, who spent one of the days of his spring break at the demo inside Cobo Hall downtown. Rep. Debbie Dingell also rode in the driverless Pacifica, asking more than a few questions of organizers along the way. "Public confidence in autonomous vehicles has decreased, not increased, over the last year for a variety of reasons," the Democratic congresswoman said. "And people need to get to know it. They need to be hands-on. They need to see that it works." Dingell said she had asked her husband, the late John Dingell, the longest-serving member of Congress in the institution's history, to serve as an advocate for driverless cars, citing the technology's potential to benefit older Americans. "He just quite frankly didn't trust it," Debbie Dingell said. Technological hurdles and apprehension have limited attempts to deploy fully autonomous vehicles on public roadways. Uber pulled its self-driving cars out of Arizona last year after one of the ride-hailing service's autonomous cars struck and killed a woman as she crossed the street. Mary Moore of SAE International, an association of mobility engineers, said the idea behind the Detroit event is to "use the facts, use what's on the market today to explain what the capabilities are today and then also give a glimpse into what can happen in the future." The event was sponsored by SAE International as well as Partners for Automated Vehicle Education, a coalition of industry, nonprofit and academic institutions whose goal is to inform and educate the public and policymakers about automated vehicles. It runs through Sunday and is free to attend.

Polaris Slingshot, Tesla cryptocurrency and an electric Jeep concept | Autoblog Podcast #664

Fri, Feb 12 2021

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski. They kick things off by talking about the 2020 Polaris Slingshot, which Jeremy got a chance to sample before the weather turned cold. Then, they pivot to news, starting with the fact that Peugeot's previously rumored return to American is very likely dead, but Stellantis plans to keep FCA's North American brands alive, at least for now. That's followed by Jeep's announcement that it will bring an all-electric model to its annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. They get into the idea of cryptocurrency transactions in car shopping, followed by some grim news at Harley-Davidson, which is attempting a new pivot.  Autoblog Podcast #664 Get The Podcast iTunes – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes RSS – Add the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator MP3 – Download the MP3 directly Rundown What we're driving: 2020 Polaris Slingshot   News Stellantis dealers plead that letting Chrysler die is not an option Jeep will bring an electric Wrangler to Moab this spring Buy a car with bitcoin? Fiat Chrysler will pay $70M to settle safety disclosure suit

Thu, Dec 10 2015

FCA US will pay a $70 million civil penalty to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for failing to submit Early Warning Report data going back to 2003. The automaker will also provide any missing data since that time, and an auditor will monitor future compliance. NHTSA says the failures to report this information "stem from problems in FCA's electronic system for monitoring and reporting safety data, including improper coding and failure to account for changes in brand names." There are no allegations of any intentional deception by the automaker. NHTSA will wrap up the latest fine with the previous consent order against FCA US earlier this year for the automaker's handling of 23 recalls. The company will know owe the safety regulator a total of $140 million in cash, and there will be possibility of $35 million more in deferred penalties if FCA doesn't comply with the agency's requests. In a statement about the fine to Autoblog, FCA US said the automaker "accepts these penalties and is revising its processes to ensure regulatory compliance." The company strongly believes that it didn't miss any safety problems over the time with this problem. Early Warning Reports include information on deaths, injuries, crashes, and other potential safety concerns, and NHTSA often uses the data in investigations for possible recalls. In September, the safety agency first announced the automaker failed to submit these documents. At the time, the regulator's administrator Mark Rosekind promised to "take appropriate action after gathering additional information on the scope and causes of this failure." FCA US also released a statement then about the lapse and said the company notified NHTSA immediately after discovering the problem. FCA US is not the first company to run afoul of NHTSA's reporting requirement. The agency fined Triumph Motorcycles and Honda this year for similar lapses. It also punished Ferrari in 2014. U.S. DOT Fines Fiat Chrysler $70 million for Failure to Provide Early Warning Report Data to NHTSA WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has imposed a $70 million civil penalty on Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for the auto manufacturer's failure to report legally required safety data. The penalty follows FCA's admission in September that it had failed, over several years, to provide Early Warning Report data to NHTSA as required by the TREAD Act of 2000.
