2004 Chrysler Crossfire Ltd. Only 9,500 Miles on 2040-cars
Cicero, New York, United States
|
Up for your consideration -2004 Chrysler Crossfire LTD. With only 9,580 miles. I am the second owner of this vehicle, purchasing it in 2008 with only 4,800 miles from an elderly widow after her husband [the original owner] passed away. The gentleman drove the car occasionally on nice days and kept it in a temperature controlled garage. This car has always been garage kept and has been in the rain only twice that I know of. This car looks and drives as a 9,000 miles should, with no mechanical issues. The oil and filter is changed every 1,000 miles by me with the correct Mobile 1 synthetic. I am also a retiree and I can assure you that this car has never been pounded on or mistreated!
It should be noted that in 2008 the car struck a deer breaking the front right headlight. The headlight was replaced with a new factory one and I can show you the part sticker with the 2007 manufacture date. This accident is noted on the carfax report, otherwise the report is clean. I welcome the serious buyer to contact me for a look and a test drive. If there are any questions at all about the car before submitting an offer, please feel free to contact me via the ebay messaging system. Remember serious potential buyers please. The car must be picked up at my residence in Cicero NY 13039 Down payment of $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close. The final payment for the car must be by PayPal or a certified cashiers check [USA Bank]. Cash is always welcome. Pickup and final payment must be completed within 7 days of auction close. I am located 3 miles from the Syracuse airport and 2 miles from the NY motor vehicle office. Fly in and drive home! This a used car and is sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied. |

GM, Ford, FCA and the UAW form joint coronavirus task force
Mon, Mar 16 2020General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler are forming a coronavirus task force along with the United Auto Workers union to improve protections for their employees and limit the spread of the highly contagious virus. The task force, which would be focusing on areas including vehicle production plans, is being headed by UAW President Rory Gamble, GM Chief Executive Officer Mary Barra, Ford CEO Jim Hackett, Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford and FCA CEO Michael Manley, the parties said in a joint statement on Sunday. Though automakers typically schedule plant staffing to allow for a certain proportion of absent workers, according to industry consultants, if the outbreak causes higher levels due to infection or workers staying home to care for children whose schools are closed, that could lead to reduced production or in extreme cases shutdowns. Production at an FCA assembly plant in Canada was halted for 24 hours after employees there refused to work on Thursday over fears of an employee being possibly exposed to the coronavirus. Separately on Thursday, the Italian-American automaker said that one of its employees had tested positive for COVID-19, a respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus, at its transmission plant in Indiana. The plant, however, remained open. "This is a fluid and unprecedented situation, and the task force will move quickly to build on the wide-ranging preventive measures we have put in place," the CEOs of the three companies said in the statement. The task force would also be focusing on aspects such as health and safety education, health screening, food service at the automakers' locations. Fiat talking with banks about buying rest of Chrysler
Wed, 13 Feb 2013All that stands in the way of Fiat's total ownership of Chrysler is a 41.5-percent stake currently held by the United Auto Workers healthcare trust, but according to SFGate.com, Sergio Marchionne is currently trying to raise the capital to complete the acquisition. The article says that a deal could be completed in as soon as 12 months, and the estimate for the remaining stake could cost Fiat SpA around $2.98 billion.
With a goal of completing the deal by the end of 2014, Marchionne is said to be in talks with various banks to help finance some of the deal. According to the report, the banks have indicated a need for a stronger balance sheet, controlled debt and reserve cash.
Two things that don't seem to be on the table to get the deal completed include issuing new shares to raise the capital or selling a stake in Ferrari. Fiat started with a 20 percent share of Chrysler in June 2009, and it raised its stake up to 58.5 percent in January 2012.
2015 Chrysler 200 production gets underway [w/videos]
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Chrysler announced recently that it has added some 800 new jobs at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) to support the production of its all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan. Total employment at the Sterling Heights, MI plant grows to almost 2,800 with the hires, an impressive figure for a plant that was slated for closure in 2010.
Speaking to a crowd of employees and community leaders, Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne was on hand to celebrate the kick-off of 200 production last week. "We're making a big bet on its success," said Marchionne of the sedan, "we've invested nearly a billion dollars in this facility."
That billion-dollar bill has been used to construct a spanking new paint shop, install a new body shop and install "machinery, tooling and material-handling equipment" according to the Chrysler press release. The company says that SHAP now runs to nearly five million square feet of manufacturing space - loads of room for all the new employees to do their thing - and that the facility can handle multiple vehicles on two unique architectures.
