Custom 2005 Chrysler 300 Convertible, 8,522 Miles. Excellent Shape on 2040-cars
Waltham, Massachusetts, United States
|
For sale is a beautiful custom 2005 Chrysler 300 Convertible. The conversion was done by Newport Convertible Engineering in Placentia, California in May 2005 . 3.5L V6 Engine runs as smooth as new. This convertible is in great shape, and has extremely low mileage for its age, as it was mostly kept in a garage by a collector. It only has 8,522 Miles on the odometer, so this car has a long life ahead of it, and runs like brand new. This car is a head turner, I have been asked many times if it is a Bentley. The conversion was done beautifully, and the top goes up and down smoothly, with the activation button to the left of the steering wheel. It is also a four-door convertible, which is pretty rare these days, which is awesome if you are looking to drive around with family, as it has a full sized back seat. Has Built in GPS, comes with chrome rims, and leather cover for convertible hatch. Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like to take a test drive. My cell number is 617-281-2311. Good Luck Bidding!

Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot boards meet to finalize merger
Tue, Dec 17 2019MILAN/PARIS — The boards of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot will meet separately on Tuesday to discuss finalizing an initial agreement for a $50 billion merger to create the world's number four carmaker, sources said. A source close to FCA said the two companies could announce the signing of a binding memorandum early on Wednesday, followed by a conference call to explain further details later in the day. The two mid-sized carmakers announced plans six weeks ago for a tie-up to help them deal with big challenges in the industry, including a global demand downturn and the need to develop costly cleaner cars to meet looming anti-pollution rules. Ahead of the meetings, entities representing the Peugeot family, Etablissements Peugeot Freres (EPF) and FFP, unanimously approved a proposed memorandum of understanding for the planned merger, a source familiar with the situation said. FCA and PSA have said they would seek to finalize a deal by year-end to create a group with 8.7 million in annual vehicle sales. That would put it fourth globally behind Volkswagen, Toyota and the Renault-Nissan alliance. PSA's Carlos Tavares will be chief executive and FCA's John Elkann — the scion of Italy's Agnelli family, which controls FCA through their holding company Exor — chairman of the combined company. The group will include the Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Peugeot, DS, Opel and Vauxhall brands, allowing it to serve mass and premium passenger car markets as well as those for trucks and light commercial vehicles. The Walter P. Chrysler Museum is shutting down permanently this December
Thu, Nov 10 2016It is with disappointment that we report the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, MI, will be closed down permanently at the end of this year. The museum, which closed in 2012 after not being able to cover costs, was recently reopened to the public on alternating weekends starting in June, but Chrysler made the decision to shutter it altogether after its final day of operation on December 18, 2016. The reason for this is primarily because FCA needs more office space, and the company decided to convert the museum for that purpose. The the cars will be moved to storage after the closure, and they'll be shown at various events. However, they'll only be able to be seen together for two more weekends. Those weekends include those of November 19 and 20, and December 17 and 18. The museum will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on those days. If you can, we highly recommend visiting the museum. Adults get in for $10, seniors and retired FCA employees for $8, kids between 6 and 17 for $6, and kids under 5 for free. It also has some fantastic cars including concepts from the 1950s to the 2000s, oddball performance vehicles such as the Omni GLH-S, and of course plenty of fascinating history. And if it makes any difference to you, there's even a purple Plymouth Prowler you can sit in. Just make sure you don't wait too long to make up your mind about visiting. Related Video:
Watch the mechanical symphony of the Chrysler 200 build process
Wed, 15 Jan 2014For those of you who can't get enough of the 2015 Chrysler 200, The Pentastar put together a short video following its new sedan down the line at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. As with the best new-baby albums, you'll see it take its first bath, be doted on by family members, put on its first pair of shoes and get all dressed up for an introduction to the world.
The only thing missing are its first words. You can follow it down the line in the video below.
