2000 2-door Chevy Tracker
Inside - Very nice looking with new seat covers front and back, the seats are very nice although the drivers seat has a few pencil width holes. Door panels, other inside panels, and dash have a few scratches. Just replaced both inside door latches. The AM-FM CD works nicely, the color on the radio volume has rubbed off in areas. All dash gauges work. The dome light is inoperative. Overall a 8 out of a 10 especially for the year.
Outside - Has small dents on panels, right fender has dent that was pounded out, right door was replaced with a door that was same color, but with stripe(had it sent from a auto parts yard. It arrived damaged at bottom of the door, had to bend back to shape(look at pictures) also came with wind deflector that also broke in transit.(the driver side door does not have a deflector or stripe). It has two small cracks in grill, both bumpers have bumps and scrapes(Look at pictures). Paint is grazing on Removable fiberglass tops. Left door guard is coming unglued and left fender guard is off.(I will re-attach before sale). All glass is in great condition. Has 4 new tires @ 102465 miles General Grabber 235-75 R15 tires(Discount tire transferable warranty) the spare tire needs replaced. Has a standard size rear hitch, it also has a tow bar attached to the front, it was pulled behind a motor home that I will be listing in the near future.
Engine/Drivetrain - Recent tune-up with new plugs and wires, clutch replaced about 15,000 miles ago, belts and hoses good, new starter(has warranty), battery purchased & wall-mart (date on battery 12-12), has 2 year full replacement. 4-W-D works great. The only oil leak it has is on the rear differential(small but when parked you will see a drop) the rest of the under carriage is dry.(no oil)
General - Starts every time and drives great, it is also a quick little car. It has a salvaged title, but it does not affect the way it drives, operates or looks. It is a little beast that will not leave you stranded, no matter where you go. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Seventies super-salesman challenges new car-sales record
Wed, Feb 21 2018Some of the fondest memories from my youth were the Sunday afternoons spent walking between rows of new and used cars. This preceded the advent of widely available internet, so the cars didn't sell themselves online: A tentative buyer had to come see the cars in the metal, with old-school salesmen taking well-earned smoke breaks after putting someone behind the wheel of a new Saab 900. All-inclusive subscription services were unheard of. If you open a Guinness records book and look up car salesmen, you'll find Joe Girard. The definitely old-school Detroit salesman regularly sold over 1,000 new cars per year, with a particular high point of 1,425 cars in 1973 guaranteeing him a mention in the Guinness book. To reach that kind of sales figure, you had to be a pretty special salesman, and Girard was. He didn't take breaks unless absolutely necessary, and even his lunch hours were dedicated to selling more cars instead of shooting the breeze with other sales persons. By 1977 he was worn through, having sold over 13,000 cars in his career, and his physique couldn't take it anymore. He's been a motivational speaker since. Now, 44 years later, a Dearborn, Mich., Cadillac and Chevrolet salesman named Ali Reda has reportedly broken Girard's record. The books at Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac say Reda sold 1,530 new cars and 52 used cars in 2017, averaging 130 vehicles per month. But after Girard, 89, heard of the sales record, he called his attorney, not letting his record be broken without a fight — or at least an audit. The Dearborn dealer isn't too concerned about Girard's doubts, at least according to Gary Stanford, whose father founded the dealership. "It's very official, trust me," said Stanford to the Detroit Free Press. "Ali is the hardest worker I've ever seen. And if someone doesn't believe the data, well, they're more than welcome to consult with GM. It's all there in black and white." What Girard doesn't get is that Reda was honoring him with the accomplishment. "I read his book, 'How to Sell Anything to Anybody,' and it said it would teach you how to become the best," said Reda, who at age 44 was a newborn when Girard hit his peak. "He's an absolute legend in the industry. Your whole career, you're chasing his name.

Why does Chevy want to trademark Camaro Krypton?
Mon, Jun 1 2015The Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang have the type of long-lived rivalry that is often found in the pages of comic books. Is the Camaro the Kryptonite to the Mustang's Superman, though? We might get to find out soon, if two recent trademark filings are any hints. On May 5, General Motors filed trademarks in the US for both Krypton and Camaro Krypton (not pictured above). While the move seemed potentially timed with the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year, engineer Al Oppenheiser shot that theory down to The Detroit Free Press. "I think that's just Internet buzz, which is great," he said to the newspaper about the alleged connection. "It's another thing about this segment of cars: there's always Internet buzz." Rather than a special edition connected to next the superhero film, Oppenheiser speculated something else. "Sometimes when we come up with a new color in our studios, they just apply [for a trademark] in case we ever use it," he said to The Detroit Free Press. "We never said we're going to do anything with that color." Still, as Superman's home planet and part of the name for the mineral that can harm him, Krypton undoubtedly has a superhero connection. To maintain the link to the comics, such a color would likely be a shade of green. Although, depending on the depiction in the books, the exact hue can vary between bright neon and a darker tone.
