Chevrolet: Tahoe Z71 on 2040-cars

You are looking at a 2012 Chevy Tahoe Z71 package, 4x4, Lifted with a rough country 6 lift kit, 35 tires and 20 wheels. This machine has 114, 571 miles but all mostly highway miles. This machine is in great condition and drives great. It has been meticulously maintained and the only reason Im selling this is because we just had another baby and need even more room now that we have 4 children. There is an area on the silver part of the front bumper that has some deep scratches on it. This was there when I bought this machine in Texas last year. Other than that, there is Less than average wear and tear on this vehicle across the board both inside and out. It has the Sony sound system and a DVD player / TV as well as factory Navigation. Honestly, this is one of the most favorite vehicles Ive ever had and it turns more heads than all the lifted trucks Ive ever had combined. My wife looks pretty hot driving this thing, and yours can too hahah - If you have any questions or want more pictures just let me know. The mileage will change but only slightly as my Wife is still using this as a daily driver until we sell it. It really is an amazing machine and you will love it. I bought this Machine last year and the lift kit, wheels and tires were all brand new when I drove it off the lot. The steering is sensitive, as with any lifted vehicle, especially Lifted IFS / Chevy Tahoes / trucks. Do not worry, the system is 100% operational and safe, Im just being realistic as to what to expect with driving a lifted Tahoe.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
