HELLO...

IF YOUR'E LOOKING AT THIS AD,YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE TRUCKS. BUT,FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MIGHT NOT,I'LL KEEP IT SHORT.THIS IS A 1999 2DR 2WD TAHOE LS.REAR BARN DOORS. THE LAST YEAR CHEVROLET MADE THESE FULL SIZE SUVs...
THIS TRUCK ONLY HAS 70K ORIGINAL MILES AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR A 15 YEAR OLD TRUCK.THE PAINT IN MY OPINION IS AN 8 OUT OF 10. IT DOES HAVE A COUPLE LIGHT SCRATCHES/DINGS BUT,NOTHING HORRIBLE AT ALL.
THE TRUCK'S INTERIOR I WOULD RATE 8 OUT OF 10 AS WELL.THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS.THE CARPET IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THERE MAY BE A COUPLE OF LIGHT,SMALL STAINS.I WILL TRY AND POST THE BEST PICS POSSIBLE. THERE ARE TWO CRACKS ON THE TOP OF THE DASH THAT WERE THERE WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK.
ALL WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCKS WORK CORRECTLY.THE RADIO AND C.D. PLAYER WORKS. THE A/C WORKS FINE AND BLOWS COLD. THE HEAT WORKS WELL BLOW HOT.
A NEW RADIATOR AND THERMOSTAT WERE INSTALLED JUST A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO IN JULY '13.THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 70% TREAD LEFT AND ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. THE TAIL LIGHT LENSES WERE REPLACED DUE TO AGE AND WERE DULL LOOKING.
THERE ARE A COUPLE KNOBS MISSING ON THE RADIO. THEY ARE NOT THE LARGE KNOBS FOR THE VOLUME AND TUNING. THERE ARE THE SMALLER ONES THAT PUSH IN AND OUT THAT ADJUST TREBLE,BASS,FADER ETC.THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS PAN UP/DOWN,BUT NOT LEFT/RIGHT.I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL FULL SIZE SPARE,BUT IS NOT SHOWN IN PICS.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE SUN VISOR IS A LITTLE WORN AND HAS SOME TAPE ON IT. THE MIRROR LIGHT AND FLAP STILL WORK FINE.
OVERALL THIS TRUCK IS IN GREAT SHAPE.RUNS GREAT,AND RIDES NICE AND SOLID. NO WEIRD NOISES OR SQUEAKS.
I AM NOT TRYING TO NIT PICK MY TRUCK APART. I TRULY AM JUST TRYING TO BE AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE FOR ANY INTERESTED AND SERIOUS BUYER. THIS TRUCK HONESTLY IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO GET RID OF BUT,THE WIFE SAYS ONE OF MY VEHICLES HAS TO GO,DUE TO ME JUST BUYING A NEW TOY.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 2DR 2WD TAHOE,YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE AS CLEAN AND IN AS GOOD RUNNING SHAPE AS THIS ONE. AND DEFINITELY NOT WITH THIS LOW MILEAGE AT THE PRICE I'M OFFERING IT AT.THIS TRUCK NEEDS VERY LITTLE COSMETIC WORK TO MAKE IT A 10.
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSPORT FEES. I AM WILLING TO MEET A TRANSPORTER AND DROP IT OFF FOR PICK UP IN MY CITY IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PICK IT UP PERSONALLY.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TRUCK.
PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THE TRUCK IF YOU DON'T HAVE FULL INTENTIONS OR THE FUNDS TO BUY THE TRUCK.
THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Fernando Alonso just misses qualifying for Indy 500 on first day

Sun, May 19 2019

Former Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso will need a clutch run on Sunday to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 on May 26 after he failed to seal a guaranteed spot on Saturday. The Spaniard tried fives times to put his McLaren Racing Chevrolet in the top 30, but wound up one spot short. He can make the 33-car field only through a six-car shootout on Sunday that will determine the race's final three drivers. "We have another chance to be in the race," Alonso, who is seeking to make his second Indy 500 field, told IndyCar TV. The Spaniard twice got inside the top 30 but both times was bumped outside the mark, with JR Hildebrand and Graham Rahal the final two drivers to seal qualifying spots. Britain's Pippa Mann will be the only woman in the race, qualifying 30th in 227.244 mph. Race positions 10-30 were determined during the day-long qualifying with Saturday's nine fastest drivers set to return on Sunday to decide pole. Spencer Pigot, driving the Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet, led qualifying with a four-lap average of 230.083 mph. He was followed by 2018 winner Will Power of Australia (230.081) and Simon Pagenaud of France (229.854). The troubles for Alonso, whose top four-lap average was 227.224 mph, were exacerbated by a punctured tire in his first qualifying run. "That didn't help," Alonso told reporters. "But, obviously, our performance has been quite bad all week. Quite poor." The Spaniard crashed his Chevrolet in practice on Wednesday and missed nearly two full days of practice while a backup car was prepared. He returned on Friday. Alonso said he was worried the McLaren team was "not ready for the challenge." "We've been slow. You see Juncos Racing crashing yesterday and being ready at 6 o'clock. That's impressive," he said. "For us, we've been a little bit slow on everything." Alonso is bidding to join Graham Hill as the only drivers to achieve the 'Triple Crown of Motorsport' with an Indy 500 victory. He previously won the Monaco Grand Prix and Le Mans 24 Hours race. He also won two Formula One drivers' titles. Recharge Wrap-up: Chevy hits CO2 goal, eVgo and BMW build fast charging

Fri, Nov 20 2015

Chevrolet has met its goal of preventing 8 million metric tons of CO2 emissions over the last five years. Through its community-based carbon reduction initiative, Chevy invested $40 million and took part in 38 different projects in 29 different states. The projects included supporting wind farms, powering a hospital with landfill gas, helping truckers reduce their idle time and helping create the ongoing #CleanEnergyU dialogue between students and clean energy leaders. In the end, Chevy retired all its carbon credits rather then spending them to offset its own emissions. Read more from Chevrolet. NRG eVgo and BMW are partnering to add DC Fast Combo charging to locations around the country. Over the next two years, the groups will bring hundreds of the 50-kW chargers to 25 cities, with 24 of those markets getting at least one installed by the end of 2015. "eVgo will add reliable DC Fast Combo capability to what is already America's largest DC Fast charging network," says eVgo President and CEO Arun Banskota. "This will be the fastest and most cost effective build out of a new network ever – thanks in large part to our existing infrastructure and committed retail host partners." Read more in the press release from eVgo. The EPA has settled with a Utah gasoline refiner over Clean Air Act violations. The HollyFrontier Corporation subsidiaries will pay $1.2 million for producing about 42 million gallons of gas that didn't adhere to Reid Vapor Pressure standards, resulting in 10 excess tons of volatile organic compound emissions. Its Salt Lake City refinery will also implement a program to offset past emissions. "This agreement will benefit public health by requiring retrofits of storage tanks at HollyFrontier facilities that will reduce volatile organic compound emissions and use next generation technology to verify these reductions," says Assistant Attorney General John Cruden. "This settlement shows that fuel refiners can and must meet the nation's standards for controlling the emissions that cause ground level ozone and serious health problems for Americans."
