Custom Suburban - 15" Lift 22x14 Wheels And 37" Toyo M/t's on 2040-cars
Lewisport, Kentucky, United States
2006 suburban LTZ AWD W/ third row seating! with 15" of lift total (super hard to find a lift this big and still have all your bells and whistles ie* abs is still functioning as well as the traction control) it is sitting on 22x14 Chrome Fuel Hostages wrapped in 37x13.50 Toyo opencountry M/Ts Still has alot of life left in the tires and the chrome on the wheels is in great shape! The oil has been changed religiously ever 3k miles, truck was daily driven untill now when I posted it for sale. Truck runs great lift and suspension has only been installed for less than 5 months we've taken a few trips and it drives like a caddy hard to believe being this big but I honestly think it rides better than it did stock mainly the shocks I think helped the most but you can set the cruise around 80 and just roll! I'm sure there's more iv left out or forgotten but you can see from the pictures it is a daily driver but the truck is beautiful!!
-Truck has a 12" Bulletproof Suspension lift kit that was all sent off to have professionally candy color matched powdercoated, along with the kit I purchased a BulletProof front drive shaft that was longer and also has the dual cardan joints -It also has a 3" PA body lift -It also has all bilstien billet shocks 5125's on the rear and 5165 with remote resivours on the front and I added the billet bilstien clamps and had the powder coated to match the suspension -All of the lift components were professionally installed at a reputable shop less than 2hrs away - It has a brand new tan suede headliner (also keep in mind that the rear a/c has been deleted looks way better) -It also has all brand new factory molded carpet throughout -Pioneer double din radio with crescendo audio door speakers that are amped with an MB Quart 80.4 onyx -It has a 50" CREE led light bar above the windshield with socal truck mounts -It has 55w 6k HIDs in the headlights and fog lights with their own designated wiring harnesses -Truck has a bolt over billet grille -Also has blacked out headlight housings along with the stock ones if wanted -I put on a set of 2500 hd tow mirrors -I had the roof lineX'd to protect it -The truck also has a Borla XR1 muffler installed -I also had the frame cleaned and coated while all the suspension was going on -I also had the step rails Line X'd to match the black accents on the truck -The engine is stock other than an ebay air intake and the muffler The negatives: -Leather seats have the typical GM wear patterns nothing major no rips or tears all tan leather (Truck has 2 front captain buckets, 2 rear buckets, and 3rd row bench) -overhead console is still empty hole where rear a/c controller was located above drivers head -front bumper has wear and tear from driving but not bad at all (just from driving bugs and little chips) -the rear bumper has some rust bubbles in it but none is rusted through ***would be interested in trades on a bagged fullsize crew cab or bagged diesel crew cab truck or nice Harley Davidson Bagger message or email Blake

2020 Chevy Tahoe High Country spied along with next-gen Escalade
Fri, Jun 7 2019Have no fear, the big grilles are here. Or, at least we think they're coming. One of our spy shooters caught the next-gen Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade out testing with more of their fronts ends exposed than before. Starting with the Tahoe, we can see what amounts to a blinding amount of chrome under the wrappings. We're guessing this would be a new Tahoe High Country trim level, mirroring the range-topping trim level currently offered on the Silverado and Traverse. The Tahoe's current range topper is the Premier. Although the rather ornate details in the grille are not found on the current High Country trims, they also seem like something that would be available on the priciest Tahoe available. The same could be said of the LED lighting details visible under the camo as the Silverado High Country, shown below, does indeed have unique LED elements. The next-generation Cadillac Escalade only shows up in two of the photos. As we can't see shiny chrome reflecting through the camo, we're guessing the Escalade will adopt a blacked out grille similar those found on the XT6 and other Cadillacs. We can also see horizontal lighting elements similar to those on other recent Cadillacs. As this is an Escalade, however, we'd imagine everything will be supersized. GM will be ushering these trucks out soon, with the independent rear suspension being the big story. Besides the improved ride and handling, it should result in substantially improved cargo space and third-row legroom. Doing so would at least close the gap with the biggest Lincoln and Ford SUVs.
Our favorite mid-engine Corvette theories and rumors
Tue, Sep 13 2016The mid-engine Corvette! We just saw blurry photos through the foliage, and are hearts are all aflutter because it means that this car is real. And it's the most " never before" Corvette since 1984. Which leads us to all kinds of wacky theories and speculation. Everybody knows something or heard from a guy. None of those guys (or gals) from GM are talking to Autoblog, to be clear. But that won't stop us from stirring the pot. Let's go over a few point-by-point. The pushrod engine will be replaced by an overhead-cam V8 Car and Driver has repeatedly reported that an overhead-cam engine will come after the mid-engine Corvette's debut with an old-school pushrod. We've heard the same thing firsthand, albeit from a source with no connection to the development of the Corvette or powertrain. "At some point two valves can't pass future emissions regulations," said the guy we know. While the pushrod engine is compact, the design makes it difficult - if not impossible - for sophisticated variable valve timing (and lift) systems that control combustion with more precision. Hasty conclusion: The pushrod engine has a finite life in front of it. This one's a lock, it's a just a matter of when. Bowling Green's new paint shop is really the mid-engine assembly line Credit to Reddit for this one. Like we said, everybody knows a guy. But let's look deeper. The new paint facility costs $439 million dollars and adds 450,000 square feet, almost half the size of the existing plant. Plus GM announced another $290 million in upgrades at Bowling Green Assembly. That sure sounds like a lot of money, but you can actually spend that much on a paint booth. Porsche spent 500 million Euros (about $561 million dollars) to add the Macan assembly to its Leipzig, Germany plant in 2014. Chrysler shelled out $850 million for a paint shop in Sterling Heights, Michigan. GM spent $600 million for a new paint shop at the Fairfax (Kansas City) plant. Honda, on the other hand, is working on a thrifty $210 million project in Marysville, Ohio that includes a 300,000 square foot expansion, and the low-volume Acura NSX facility only cost $70 million. Hasty conclusion: The square footage and cost could easily mean a new assembly line instead of (or in addition to) a paint line. And if the NSX plant was really that cheap, GM could have hidden a similar sum in its existing announcements.
Watch the National Corvette Museum sinkhole being filled in by R/C cars
Sun, Jan 11 2015Okay, so not exactly cars, but Bobcats - but still quite cool. You might remember that the National Corvette Museum had that little divot that needed to be filled in. Turns out the construction firm of Scott, Murphy & Daniel doing the work is using two remote-controlled Bobcats to fill the sinkhole with "manufactured sand," which in this case is crushed limestone. It appears that the Bobcat company has offered remote operation since at least 2007 via a wireless transmitter that works up to 1,500 feet away. So yes, that means two SMD employees stand on the edge of the pit and flick joystick levers for hours at a time, one in charge of a Bobcat with a roller-compactor attachment, the other in charge of a Bobcat with a bucket. And that, to us, is a pretty good way to earn the daily bread. Check out the video above for the latest sinkhole update.
