Hello,
I've got a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban LT for sale...It is clean and its loaded. It has leather seats with full-power including lumbar, memory and heaters. It is gold and has aftermarket wheels with decent tires. It would be a great truck even if you didn't have the option to run it off of compressed natural gas, which can be purchased here at ONG and OnCue stations for 90 to 99 cents a gallon. If you get a fuelmaker appliance for your house you can fill up every night for less than a $1.00 a gallon. It has a strong 5.3 vortec engine and a rebuilt automatic transmission. It has keyless entry, tow package third row seat, onstar, and a very comfortable ride. It is a 1500 series, and a 2wd....
A luxury ride like this that runs off CNG is rare, most cng vehicles are fleet work trucks.... If your still reading then I dare you to type "CNG Suburban for sale" in your search engine and see how many you can come up with nationwide...all I could find was the 2013's they are coming out with this year (its a $13k add)....This was an Arizona truck that was bought new and converted to bi-fuel immediately....It has about 219k miles but runs and looks good, I don't have proof but I believe it's had some engine work done......it runs good and has no major issues.....It has a full size gasoline tank and It holds about 9 gallons of CNG ....you don't seem to lose any power or fuel consumption when your running off CNG....The tanks expired last November, so that could be an issue in your state, it doesn't matter here in Oklahoma.
The CNG system is an Eco, from FMS (Fuel Management Systems), a Canadian company......My price is about what it would cost for you to get your SUV converted to bi-fuel.....It has an aftermarket flip down DVD player, but it quit working.
I live in Holdenville and work in Gerty, so I have to travel to Shawnee, Okemah or Ada,(all 30min+ drives, and none of them on the way to my job) to enjoy the CNG savings.....This truck is dependable, Its comfortable, its clean and it will save you a bunch of money if you drive alot and live near an ONG station...Loves Country Stores and some OnCue Express stores have began selling CNG all over the Oklahoma and beyond....It's a lot cheaper than gasoline and you can save a lot of money...it's not new, but it's pretty nice....I would be comfortable jumping in it and driving it to either coast
Again, the truck is in Holdenville, Oklahoma....I might consider delivering it to you for a price, contact me for a price....THANKS
THANKS For looking, have a good day!
Jonathan
This truck is similar to Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon etc..... Compressed Natural Gas, LP, propane, electric, hybrid, green

With only 246 Volts sold in Australia, Holden not getting next-gen model
Tue, Apr 28 2015The Chevrolet Volt has not been the resounding success General Motors hoped for here in the United States. But it's fortunes in Chevy's home country are nothing compared to how poorly it's done down under. Only 246 Volts have been sold in Australia, where the car is branded as a Holden, since its debut in 2012. That's not just a bad showing – it's an absolute disaster. According to Motoring.com.au, it was the Volt's astonishing $60,000 price tag, combined with a lack of interest from Aussie drivers, that killed the car's chances. What's fascinating about this development, though, is that it doesn't necessarily seem to be Holden that's pulling the plug. Instead, it's the Volt's Hamtramck, MI factory, which is preparing to shift into production of the second-generation model that seems to be taking the blame. According to Motoring, the plant confirmed that it will only build the Gen 2 plug-in in left-hand-drive form, basically ruling out a model for Australia. "Electric and hybrid vehicles haven't taken off in Australia," Holden's director of communications, Sean Poppitt, told Motoring. "Considering the lack of infrastructure, the lack of government incentives, the large distances between cities, it's a tough sell." The death of the right-hand drive Volt won't be the only loss of business in Hamtramck. Opel has already confirmed that it will drop the plug-in's European fraternal twin, the Ampera, while the next-gen Chevy won't make the trip across the pond either. Related Video:
Burt Reynolds' movie re-creations fetch $379,500 in Vegas
Wed, Oct 3 2018The recent death of Hollywood legend and automotive enthusiast Burt Reynolds helped drive up the value of four of his former cars from the 1970s and '80s, which sold last weekend at Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas auction for a combined $379,500. Reynolds, who died Sept. 6 at age 82, had offered three Pontiac Trans Ams — two of them re-creations of the cars he drove in "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hooper" and the third from 1984 used to promote his United States Football League team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth was a 1978 Chevrolet R30 pickup truck, styled like the one featured in "Cannonball Run." The "Bandit" re-creation, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that Reynolds ordered to be as "movie-correct" as possible but featuring a custom-built 200-4R automatic transmission, sold for $192,500. The car features a freshly built Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed automatic and featuring all-new Butler Performance parts and air-conditioning components. Reynolds reportedly said this was his favorite car from his films, and it even came with an authentic movie-correct CB radio and CB antenna. The red retro-rocket "Hooper" '78 Firebird, with a 403 cubic-inch V8 and a three-speed automatic, hammered for $88,000. By comparison, a gold 1978 Trans Am also offered at the Las Vegas auction but not connected to Reynolds fetched $27,500. The 1987 Chevy R30 pickup was a re-creation of the Indy Hauler pace truck seen jumping over a moving freight train in "Cannonball Run." It hammered for $49,500. The fourth car never appeared in any of Reynolds' films but is instead the only surviving example of two Trans Ams used to promote the Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct USFL, having been driven out onto the field by Reynolds and his late friend and co-star, Jerry Reed, during opening day one season. It also sold for $49,500. At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in 2016, Reynolds accompanied a 1977 Trans Am used to promote "Bandit" onto the auction block. That car sold for $550,000. Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
