IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SOLID DEAL ON A BIG SUV, OUR VEHICLE IS IT!!!

This is our family vehicle and truly driven by the soccer mom.  It has been extremely well maintained and I run Valvoline synthetic blend in all my vehicles.  We are selling because my mother gave us a Lexus GX470 as a free and clear gift.  We are not a dealer and not mechanics but everything that ever needs attention we generally do it very quickly.  We have 4 children.  One played softball and the other three play soccer.  This is the road machine for the family.  I hate seeing people make excused for high-mileage saying it is highway miles.  This has in town and highway miles.  I don't know what the split of mileage is but my wife drives like her mother; a grandmother.  The condition is what you would expect from a used older vehicle that has had children in it.  There are stains but not "gross" and there are small door dings and scratches but nothing horrible.  We try to keep things as clean and maintained as possible as we can but nothing can compensate for a large family.  I'll try to list what we have done to the Suburban over the past few years but will tell you the bad first; which is not much.  The left rear window does not work.  The passenger seat leather is getting pretty worn and the dash paint is showing some wear like all the models from this year apparently do.  That is about all I can say negative: period.  The check engine light has a mind of its own and we have finally just started ignoring when it is on or off.  When I say there is nothing wrong, we just drove it to Birmingham and back twice and it runs like a Cadillac.  Everything else works, remote entry, air, security, transmission and every feature this has works. It has no leaks (which I think is incredible) and never runs low on fluids.  Maybe that is because of the way it is driven.

We have most of the service records and because we run a blend we service it about every 4K miles.  We have done the following:
Upgraded factory wheels when the others got a little dull
Recent Front Tires (rears are at maybe 40 percent)
Intake Manifold Gasket Replaced
Catyletic Converters Replaced
Engine Seals Replaced (it was dripping oil)
Transmission Serviced

That is about it.  Come pick it up and drive it anywhere.  If you want it shipped, then we will help facilitate whatever arrangements you make and make sure we are available for arrangements.  Look at our feedback and know that we are honest.  We do require a $250 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours and the vehicle arrangements for shipping or pickup must be made 10 days of the purchase.    This is the "deal" you are looking for and the Chevy Suburban is comparable in many ways to the GMC Yukon XL, Ford Expedition and Ford Excursion, Tahoe, Escalade, Escalade L, Expedition L and Centurion.

Auto blog

Here are the best-selling cars and trucks from January 2015

Fri, Feb 6 2015

Every month, Autoblog slogs through all the sales figures reported by automakers that do business in the United States, and, after a little bit of sorting, we put it into an easy-to-read chart in an attempt to make it as easy as possible to follow the ins and outs of sales and shipments. But that only covers the brands themselves, not the individual models they sell. And we think you'd all be interested in knowing which vehicles beat their rivals in sales from month to month, so we've put together this handy gallery to keep you in the know. While the leader of the pack may not come as much of a surprise, the order that the top ten finishes in changes frequently – due to automaker deals, the price of gas, etc. – and we've included some statistics to help you see how their current performance stacks up to month's past. 2020 Chevy Trax spied sporting design cues from the new Blazer

Wed, Oct 3 2018

We saw spy shots in August for what we thought was either a redesigned Chevrolet Trax or new GMC subcompact crossover. At the time we were leaning Chevy. But after this latest batch of spy shots taken near GM's proving grounds, we're now thinking this one is the Trax replacement and the other one was a GMC. For one, the thin row of LEDs looks remarkably similar to the 2019 Chevy Blazer's LED strip. The additional light slightly below that is similar to the Blazer as well, leading us to believe that the next Trax will have a Blazer-esque front end. At first glance, this vehicle looks slightly larger than today's Trax with a much brawnier shape than the current blob-like design. The rear roof cladding could be hiding the same sloped rear window with spoiler hangover we see on the Blazer. Circling back to the other small GM crossover we caught testing, this one doesn't have those Blazer elements. The curved windshield and sloping roof are like those of the GMC Terrain, as are the horizontal grille bars. By contrast, the above car has a straighter windshield and a roof shaped more like the Blazer. One element that does seem to diverge from the new Blazer are the taillights, but they don't exactly look production-ready anyway. If we're right about this being the next Trax (and we're pretty sure we are) then this looks to be a more distinctive vehicle than what it will replace. The mirrors have left their awkward spot on the doors, and it's shaping up to be a much sportier looking crossover as a whole. This vehicle will most likely end up being a 2020 model year car, and if so, we would expect to see undisguised photos of both it and the assumed GMC version next year. MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
