1999 Chevrolet Suburban k2500 equipped with the 7.4L 454 Vortec Engine. Will haul anything you put on it. It rides better with 15,000 lbs. of weight behind it than a 5'x8' trailer.
MANY PROS******* * HYPERTECH PROGRAMMED to ensure Transmission shifts smoothly, helps mpg's a little bit and Programs for the over-sized tires in the trucks computer. *Interior in this suburban is very very good. I would say it is in MINT condition other than the small tear in the leather as seen in the picture in the driver's seat. (even common in a '05) * Nitto Terra Grappler ALL TERRAIN TIRES 35 in. And Aftermarket Chrome rims. *Amsoil Synthetic Motor Oil every 4,000 Miles. Fresh Oil Change and Fuel Filter Change. *Sounds and Runs Amazing. *4x4 Works Great. *No Rust at all, vehicle was a North Carolina truck where no salt has reached the frame. Very minimal few spots on the frame even!! Almost looks Factory still!! *Front and Rear Heat/AC Works Great!! *Transmission shifts very smooth!! *3 inch Stock Body Lift FEW CONS***** *Vehicle does not have Catalytic Converters on it, to improve sound. *Only power option that does not work are the Driver's Side heated seat. *Few small dings on sides of vehicle but Beautiful Factory paint hides them well, have to really look hard to see them. *Dent below rear right tail light, where a trailer was jack-knifed. Over all this 1999 Suburban k2500 is in Great Shape!! If it weren't for the dent in the rear and the rip in the Driver's Seat I would consider it MINT CONDITION. But I will not sugar coat this vehicle and classify it as being in GREAT CONDITION!!!! |

The Volt Dance had precedent; meet the Chevy Footlockers
Sun, Dec 14 2014Marketing in the auto industry can get weird sometimes – really quite bizarre, in fact. For example, remember the Chevy Volt dance from the 2009 Los Angles Auto Show? If not, a group boogied to a song about the electric car, and it was every bit as awkward (and hilarious) as that sounds. In fact, that innocent bit of promotion lives in infamy, as some pundits grabbed hold of it during General Motors' bailout and asked why America's tax dollars were going to such things. The Chicago Auto Show has been digging through its vault of vintage videos, and it has come up with something that might actually be worse than that Volt-themed routine. They're called the Chevy Footlockers, and they're a dance troupe somehow promoting the Cavalier at the 1988 Chicago show. The connection between the car and their routine is unclear, but it's gloriously cheesy in a Chippendales-meets-AC Slater sort of way. Also, there are props towards the end, but we aren't going to spoil them for you, because you just have to watch for yourself.
