1999 SUBURBAN - 4WD, VORTEC 5700 V8 SFI ENGINE 4 SPD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
I am the second owner of this LOADED 1999 SUNSET GOLD METALLIC, NEUTRAL CUSTOM LEATHER SUBURBAN vehicle. I bought it from a friend of mine and I have owned it for the past 9 years and it has been a great vehicle for my family. I recently bought a new one and no longer need this Suburban. It has about 146K miles and still runs great. There is some normal wear and tear for a vehicle that is 15 years old. There is some rust as shown in the pictures. The tires are not new but they did pass inspection and should be good for many more miles. A full size spare is included. There is a slight separation of the leather on the drivers front seat (as shown on the pictures) it is right on the seam and can be easily fixed. The A/C only works in the front and does not work in the rear seats. As far as that, the vehicle’s engine runs great and still has a lot of life left in it for a family looking for a large reliable SUV to take the whole family along with plenty of room for luggage and supplies. I still have the original sticker from the vehicle that shows all the Standard and Optional Equipment installed on this SUV. Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
GM slashes prices in China as sales falter
Thu, May 14 2015Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales.
