Barn Find.  All original, low miles, 3 door with clam shell rear doors.  PO says vehicle was purchased new at Luby Chevrolet in Denver, Co in 1970.  Used to transport people to and from the airport.  This vehicle was used for an outfitting business for 10 years, sat for 10 years.  Then had some interior and rocker panel work done.  It was used for a couple more years, then stored in a barn where is sat until April 2013.  I put clean gas, oil, new points, good tires and bled brakes.

PO states that mileage is original.  Runs and drives extremely well, straight and smooth.  Starts and stops well. Has some rocker rust and some body dings and dents. Original Paint (except some rocker areas).

3rd seat has been located at the ranch where the vehicle was purchased, and can be purchased for additional $$.  (ranch is 300 miles away)

Power Steering and Power Brakes.  All lights, gauges function properly.  All glass is good.  Some headliner panels need to be replaced, have some parts.

Center caps NOT included (they are off my truck)

Here's the 2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible

Mon, Jun 22 2015

Chevrolet is planning to reveal the 2016 Camaro Convertible on Wednesday, June 24. But here it is ahead of time, thanks to some leaked images found by the folks at Camaro6.com. These photos were apparently posted to Chevy's website and then immediately taken down. But they clearly show the new droptop Camaro from a number of angles, with the top both up and down. Not surprisingly, the Camaro's design hasn't changed for the convertible body style, and it looks pretty good. Have a look at the low-res images in the gallery above. We'll have the full details later this week.

Sabine Schmitz to compete in WTCC race at Nurburgring, hopes for rain

Fri, Apr 10 2015

The World Touring Car Championship is set to return to the Nurburgring this year after a 30-year absence. Who better, then, to lead the pack than Sabine Schmitz? One of the most skilled drivers around the Norschleife, 45-year-old Schmitz has been known to compete in the VLN series and in the 24-hour race at the Nurburgring (which she's won twice), and regularly drives tourists on hot laps around the Green Hell. Nobody can drive the circuit better than Schmitz when the rain starts to fall, and fall it often does in the German spring, but she'll have a new challenge on her hands when she makes her WTCC debut in a Chevy Cruze for the Munnich Motorsport team for the German round next month. It'll be interesting to see how Sabine does in the race, given that she has no experience with the vehicle she'll be driving, but has immense knowledge of the notoriously difficult track. She'll have the chance to acclimate a little during the WTCC test session at the 'Ring later this month, and hopes to compete in one of the two races – in Morocco or Hungary – before tackling her home track in unfamiliar machinery. Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon get updated tachometers due to graphical error

Sun, Feb 8 2015

After James Bearing bought a Chevrolet Colorado, he noticed a discrepancy between the truck's spec sheet and the truck's tachometer: Chevrolet said 3.6-liter V6 in the little pickup produces 305 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, but the the tachometer indicates a redline at 6,500 rpm. So either he wasn't making as much power as he was promised, or the tachometer display was incorrect. Bearing said he asked Chevy about it but got no response. Until now. A General Motors spokesman said the rev limiter is indeed set for 6,800 rpm, but the tach graphics "are slightly off" in the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, and submitted an SAE horsepower certification to back him up. If you're wondering how such a thing got past quality control... well, let's just say you're not alone. GM is going to fix "the graphics on future trucks," which makes it sound like Bearing will just have to learn to live with the indicated redline he's got. He could always pretend he's driving a sleeper, with four more ponies waiting to be unlocked in the danger zone for those who dare.
