Chevrolet 3500 2wd Duramax W/ Allison Trans. 12' 6" Aluminum Dump Bed 103k on 2040-cars
Bluefield, West Virginia, United States
This is a 2005 Chevrolet 3500 with 103,000 miles on it in good condition. The truck has a 12 1/2' by 7 1/2' aluminum dump bed. The truck is equipped with a duramax engine and a Allison transmission both of which work excellent. The truck is driven daily and gets about 12mpg around town and up to 17 mpg on the interstate. The truck has a few scratches on it with no dents. The interior has 2 gray vinyl bucket seats with power door looks and windows. It has remote start so you don't have to get in a cold truck this winter. I am selling the truck for my dad so if you have any questions give me a little extra time to get the answer. The bed works great and is not dented or beat up it has hauled and dumped as much as 4 ton before. The rear has duel wheels with factory air ride suspension. All the tires look to have 50 to 60% tread on them. The buyer is responsible for pick up and delivery. Dad purchased it as a cab and chasis on ebay about 3 or 4 years ago out of Texas it was originally used as an ambulance. The truck has served him well and is no longer needed. He had the dump bed built and installed by T&G Sales. I will have to get some more pictures for you some of the others would not load. |

Mysterious white powder discovered at GM Orion Assembly
Fri, Sep 2 2016Workers at General Motors Orion Assembly Plant in Orion Township, MI uncovered a mysterious white powder in two different parts of the factory earlier this week, raising concerns about worker safety. "We can confirm that an unknown substance (white powder) was found on the floor outside of Gate 6 at Orion Assembly on Monday, August 29. On Tuesday, August 30, we had a second report of a bottle containing a similar substance found inside the plant," GM spokesperson Dayna Hart told The Oakland Press via email. GM stressed that incident didn't disrupt operations at the plant, and that the company was taking steps to ensure the safety of the sprawling factory's workers. That did include, an anonymous worker told The Oakland Press, closing off parts of the factory for two full days, as drug-sniffing dogs and crews in haz-mat suits descended on the area. "A sample of the substance has been sent to a laboratory for identification and results are expected later this week," Hart said. "All findings and actions have been shared with our employees." Orion Assembly currently builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, and will eventually be responsible for production of the new, all-electric Chevy Bolt early next year. Related Video:
Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years
Fri, Feb 21 2014Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up.
