Up for sale is my beloved 2015 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Edition. This is a 1500 Crew Cab with every single option available for the model. This is the definition of FULLY LOADED. The truck currently has 10,300 miles on it and I am the one and only owner as I purchase brand new in 2015. This truck is in PERFECT condition and ahs been babied the entire time I have owned it. It has never been used to tow or for work so the body is absolutely in pristine condition. The truck is washed every week and waxed once a month so the paint is better than when I purchased it new. The only reason I am selling the truck is because I do not drive it much as my commute to work was cut to less than 1 mile each way from my house and I have no use for a truck anymore. The interior is covered in Saddle Brown leather including a leather dash and leather wrapped steering wheel. Heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, power sliding rear window, power sunroof and top of the line Bose stereo system with touch screen and voice controlled navigation. I have owned BMWs my entire life and I can honestly say this truck has more options inside and is nicer than my 2014 5 series. There are to many options to and I can send a copy of the build sheet to serious inquiries. The exterior is deep beautiful black with color matched bumpers. The truck came with a spray-in bedliner from the factory and includes a soft close tailgate, side steps, and chrome assist steps. It has a rear back up camera, front and rear parking sensors, keyless start, power adjustable pedals and full tow package including trailer brake controller. 20 chrome premium wheels and polished exhaust tip finish up the exterior. On top of the beauty of this truck it was the last year Chevrolet offered a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty as the 2016s and up have a 3 year 36,000 power train warranty. So you can be assured you will never have to worry about any issues with this truck! The power train is the 5.3L V8 Ecotec3 motor with a 6spd auto transmission. I personally get over 20 miles to the gallon when I am on the highway and I am averaging overall 18.7 MPG between city and highway!! Also the truck has a 2 year maintenance free warranty and all maintenance has been done by Silverstar Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is truly one of the nicest trucks on the road as I am constantly complemented on it where ever I go. The condition is an overall 10/10 and should basically be considered brand new!!

Chevy: The Big Game
Mon, Feb 2 2015Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game. A clever, chuckle-inducing spot if there was one. Check out our full write up of the new, 2015 Colorado. Marketing/Advertising Chevrolet Truck Super Bowl Commercials Videos 2015 super bowl ad
General Motors and EVs: No stranger to firsts, but where's the leadership?
Tue, Apr 7 20152015 is already shaping up to be the year of "affordable, 200-mile EV" concepts. Nissan and Tesla have each been talking about them for some time, the latter promising to unveil its Model 3 at the North American International Auto Show in January before balking when the time came. Instead, Chevrolet beat them all by unveiling the Bolt concept at the same event, followed shortly thereafter with suggestions of a 2016 launch – potentially offering the first nationwide EV with anything close to that range. It was the ballsiest EV-related move General Motors has made in a quarter century. But will it remain so? Exactly 25 years before the Bolt rolled up onto the turntable, then-Chairman Roger Smith unveiled GM's last ground-up EV concept, the even-more-unfortunately-named Impact, at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 1990. A few months later, he surprised most of his colleagues by announcing its intended production in honor of Earth Day. It was the first modern foray into electric vehicles for the US by any automaker, one that was rewarded by the State of California with what is now known as the Zero Emissions Vehicle mandate. The program not only forced other automakers into competing with Roger's pet project, but inspired all of them to fight it like small children against bedtime. Some years later, the drivers themselves weighed in, with a biting documentary about that obstinance and the leadership it cost both GM and the country. Within months, GM was first back into the fray of plug-in vehicles. Many criticized the company for starting with a PHEV rather than jump straight back into EVs. The choice wasn't totally out of the blue – even EV1 was meant to be followed by a PHEV. And especially on the heels of Who Killed the Electric Car?, some skittishness was understandable: even a successful EV would invite a "we told you so" public reaction, underscoring their mistake in ending the EV1 program. If a new EV didn't do well, they'd be convicted in the public eye as serial killers. All while seeking a federal bailout. For all the flak, the resulting Chevy Volt was and is a better car than GM has ever gotten credit for. But the company seemed to grow weary of having to overcome its varied past, and while the current owners remain happy, much of the stakeholder and community engagement that so effectively built early goodwill and sales growth faded not long after launch. Marketing has been spotty in both consistency and effectiveness.
