This is moms 2005 Chevrolet truck that I'm selling for her, she bought another toy and thought for some reason she could fit this one into one of the garages (they have a few vehicles).  Well there is not enough room and to leave it out side is not a option and if not for that she would keep it, anyway.  This truck has always been garaged and is in Excellent condition inside and out, even though its used for a 2005 its show quality.  Factory backed custom, it went from the factory to Regency Customs.  Regency Custom installed a cold air induction system, K&N air filter, spark plug wires, ceramic coated headers and great sounding power flow exhaust.  Also ground forced suspension lowering the truck one inch installing 20 inch chrome wheels, black stripes a billet grill and SS badge.  The stance of this truck is sharp.  The Red paint shines bright and turns heads.  The interior looks Great as well ( she even has rugs over the mats ).  In saying that the truck has a couple tiny places just want to be clear but you would have to look very hard to find something,  I believe there were only about 60 produced.  There is absolutely no problems with the truck, its runs great and sounds mean.  No leaks of any kind mechanically perfect.  All the gauges, air, heat electric windows etc works with no problems.  Tires are like new.  The inside of the bed has some scratches from hauling what ever but no mulch or anything like that has ever been in it, her intention was to have a spray liner put in.  The tow hitch looks to have never had a receiver in it.  This is one razor sharp truck that will make someone proud to have, simply hard to find any used truck in this condition.   I have included several pictures to help describe this truck.  It has 103,223 miles with the 4.8 liter V8.  She is the second owner and its never been in a accident of any kind, the truck can be driven anywhere.  I'm sure I'm forgetting something so if you have any question let me know. I have a clean Tennessee title in my hand.

Thanks Good luck

Lonnie

Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

Chevrolet Cruze EV - Click above for high-res image gallery
The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
