Selling 1988 Chevrolet K1500, Silverado Truck. Pa. Inspection til 10/13. 66,200 miles. 4x4. Original 350 engine. It's never been in a crash. It was used for normal local, running around, yard work, etc. see inside bed of truck. I'm the 3rd owner. First two owners were husband, then wife. The outside ORIGINAL Paint on the Truck is beautiful. Except paint in left, front quarter panel, the silver has flaked off, easy to see in pic. It hasn't gotten worse since i bought the truck. NO door or side dings. One ding, in right, rear edge corner, see pic, very minor. Garage-kept it's entire life, and still is. The interior is excellent. Headliner does sag, but evenly. Original floor mats still with truck. Original unused Jack behind bench seat. Oil changed, and next change not due until 69k mi. Underneath the truck is fine, no frame drama, just normal surface rust that easily cleans up, etc. NEW Uniroyal Laredo Tires just put on a few hundred miles ago. All kinds of original paperwork from new. Radio cracks from time to time out of right speaker. And heat/AC (which works great) blows out of defrost vents only. No other problems with the truck at all. Power windows, power door locks, and 4x4 was tested in driveway on light snow, and it engages and disengages fine.
Title in Hand. Truck is located near Hershey, Pa. PayPal a respectful, down payment of a mere $250.00 is required, if you buy the truck. 717-319-1127. any questions, just ask. No-nonsense, HONEST, Ebay'r looking for same types of buyers. It IS a very nice, reliable Truck, with a great engine and it wasn't beat on or thrashed in anyway during it's 25 year life.
USA/Canada sales only. NO shipping whatsoever, not that there would be anyway. Pay for the remainder of Truck in a fashion that isn't considered shady or criminal. Truck will be sold with a FULL tank of gas, and all i ever used was 93 octane, for whatever that's worth. Selling because i'm moving to a location where 4x4's aren't popular or needed. I'll assist with shipping, delivery anyway i can from this end.

GM drops diesel engines for 2020 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain crossovers
Fri, Jul 12 2019GM is officially discontinuing the diesel engine in the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain for the 2020 model year. The 1.6-liter turbodiesel was always an oddball of an engine in the compact crossover segment, and now the experiment has come to an end. The Car Connection initially reported the news, and a GMC spokesperson, Stuart Fowle, confirmed it to us this morning. “A huge majority of our Terrain customers have opted for one of our two gas engines," says Fowle. We canÂ’t say this eventuality comes as a massive surprise, as we saw news from couple of months ago that GM was dropping all-wheel drive from the diesel-powered cars for 2020. Low demand was cited as the reason for that cull, and itÂ’s the same for the little GM crossovers this time around, too. These vehicles were the only ones powered with a diesel engine in their class, but thatÂ’s going to be changing. Just as GM is going away from the diesel, Mazda is finally bringing its diesel to market in the CX-5. YouÂ’ll only be able to get that engine in the most expensive ($42,045) trim level, combined with all-wheel drive, though. The cheapest Equinox diesel starts at a comparably low $30,795. ThatÂ’s a $2,400 upcharge over the base 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder, and the value is questionable. Mileage is better, but diesel fuel is more expensive. Towing capability didnÂ’t increase over the base engineÂ’s 1,500-pound capacity, but the extra torque around town was nice. As diesels go in the U.S., this one was rather rough and noisy, possibly contributing to some turning their noses up after a test drive. Perhaps another reason for its demise was that the much quicker 2.0-liter turbo Equinox was only $100 more than the diesel. This engine offered significantly better towing at 3,500 pounds, too. You can read all about what we thought of the diesel in our first drive review here, but the 2019 model year is the last one if you had it on your shortlist. Camaro SS facelift and dune-riding the new Mercedes-Benz GLS | Autoblog Podcast #579
Fri, May 3 2019In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Reese Counts and Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale. First, they talk about the newly refreshed Chevy Camaro SS. Then they dish on the cars they've been driving, including the Lexus UX, Lexus GS F and Volvo V90, as well as riding in the new Mercedes-Benz GLS. After that, they ask the question, how many AMG cars is too many? Finally they turn to car buying, and suggest potential vehicles for a shopper on Reddit for the "Spend My Money" segment. Chevy Bolt name just might get through US trademark office
Sat, May 30 2015UPDATE: GM told AutoblogGreen on June 1 that, "Our Chevrolet Legal team has been working closely with the USPT on the Chevrolet Bolt trademark. As of last week, our legal staff received consent from Yamaha to use the Bolt name. According to our legal team, our USPT application is back to active status." Also, it appears that GM has further trademarked Bolt EV and Chevrolet Bolt EV. Chevy wants to sell a 200-mile electric vehicle for around $35,000 in a few years. The Detroit automaker wants to call that car the Bolt, not to be confused with the company's other plug-in, the Chevy Volt. Unless something changes, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is going to crush GM's Bolt-flavored dreams. The USPTO has suspended GM's trademark application. The USPTO said in its suspension that there was a "likelihood of confusion" with another Bolt trademark, No. 4429759, which applies to a Bolt trademark filed by Yamaha on August 09, 2012. That's well before GM's effort to trademark the Bolt name in 2014. GM's application will remain suspended, the USPTO said, "until the earlier-filed referenced application(s) is either registered or abandoned." Maybe GM will use this setback to respond to the many criticisms of the Bolt name we've heard since it was first announced. There is another page on the USPTO's website that says GM's Bolt application is still live, but we assume that just hasn't been updated yet. Related Video:
