No scratches, no chips, has original window sticker and factory brochures. Wheels (rims) are new and "ghost flames" have been professionally added to the front of the vehicle. Stunning vehicle to own. Six speed manual transmission. If you're going to have a performance vehicle, you'll need one of these! Second owner and never driven in the rain. This was the last year for the SSR, and the highest horsepower rating of the series."

This vehicle is a 2006 Chevrolet SSR pickup. This was a limited production, all steel convertible pickup powered by a Corvette drive train. This last year model saw an increase in the horsepower rating to 400. This power is fed into a Tremec 6 speed close ratio manual transmission. The original owner added metallic red ghost flames to the front of the vehicle and were done to show quality. The ugly stock wheels were likewise changed to custom wheels to really set this vehicle apart from the competition. The paint is perfect in every detail.

The undercarriage is likewise near perfect owing to its minimal use and it appears to have never been used in rainy weather. The present owner added a very cleaver hidden trailer hitch which features a vertically mounted receiver mounted to the frame behind the bumper. This allows for a “U” shaped hitch to be inserted allowing towing of a light trailer or motorcycle trailer. The overall condition of this vehicle should be regarded as better than new. With just over 7,000 miles, a professionally applied graphic paint job to the front of the automobile, interior in perfect condition, all original factory literature and product line brochure, window sticker, and all options including the 6 speed manual transmission, this car being from the last model run, is a real collector item.

A Certified Automobile Appraisal has been done on this vehicle (8-5-13) which will be provided upon request and may be utilized for financing purposes. This sale is without warranty and buyer is responsible for movement of the vehicle from its current location in Fresno, CA.

GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk

Mon, Jan 13 2014

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday. 2016 Lamborghini Huracan at the Horse Thief Mile | AutoblogVR

Tue, Sep 13 2016

AutoblogVR returns to the Horse Thief Mile in the Mojave Desert to put the Lamborghini Huracan to the test. It's everything we want a modern supercar to be: Powerful, striking in appearance, and a riot to drive. But does it live up to Lamborghini's unique performance heritage? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reviews the Huracan on Horse Thief's unyielding curves and elevation changes to find out. Meanwhile, Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin reviews a different kind of performance car – the Chevy SS at the IndyCar circuit on Detroit's Belle Isle. He's ably assisted by ace driver Simon Pagenaud. You must watch his hot lap! The SS is old-school V8 American muscle wrapped in Australian design and engineering. This AutoblogVR segment also launches on the app Sept. 13, and the teaser follows the Huracan preview above. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too!
