CHEVY S-10 EXTENDED CAB PICK-UP The pick-up was assembled about two weeks ago by a local speed shop . Chevys are what his shop primarily does. The paint is a brand new. Done by a local paint shop, metalic blue. This truck has a 350 V-8. 350 Turbo Automatic transmission. Pro-Flo 750 four barrel carburator, with a electric fuel pump. The exhaust system is fairly new and sounds mean!!! There is a reconditioned oversized radiator and a oil cooler. The wheels are 18" EAGLE ALLOYS, with 225/40/18's on the front and 255/35/18's on the rear. The rubber doesn't have a whole lot of life left on them. Power steering and power brakes. Hurst shifter with the reverse lock-out switch. A billet grill was also installed. Installed two great condition bucket seats from a earlier Chevy. The truck was also dropped about four inches in the rear and about three inches in the front. There is plenty of power for this truck that only weighs about 2500 pounds. There may be a couple of other things that need to be done like the rear valence skirt for the license plate, but I have the Corvette type complete with rear lights, although the lenses on the truck now are new. The headliner is out. The front black spoiler comes with the car. The unneccessary items were eliminated for a street racer, like the blower/ heater units and radio. There is plenty of power there to install a/c if need be. The rims have some curb rash that I think an experienced wheel shop could take car of. There may be head light that need to be replaced. This truck comes with no warrentees and guarantees either implied or otherwise. I never thought I would have to write this but if do not intend on purchasing the vehicle , please do not bid.... this is not a video game.....bidding has actual circumstances and responsibilities that have to be honored. Thank you. |

Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green
Fri, 01 Mar 2013With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.

Leaked GM document shows GMC Sierra I6 diesel is more powerful than F-150's
Thu, Oct 4 2018GM told us earlier this year that the 2019 GMC Sierra would be getting a 3.0-liter I6 diesel option, but it never mentioned power or fuel economy figures. Hold the phone though, because a leaked GM Canada document just showed up online that lists out the details we've been waiting for. Originally published by TFL Truck, the 3.0-liter oil-burner supposedly makes 282 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. For those who are counting, that's more than the Ford F-150's 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet from its 3.0-liter diesel. It soundly bests the 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque from Ram's 3.0-liter diesel as well. Fuel economy is another story, though. The promotional material states that it will get 28 mpg on the highway, which is 2 mpg short of the F-150's 30 mpg — mind you, it's only capable of that magical 30 mpg figure in rear-wheel drive form. There's another caveat here, too; these are numbers for Canada, so they're not exactly finalized EPA figures. However, we wouldn't expect drastic differences between the two when the American numbers come out. The leaked documents also state the diesel Sierra will be capable of towing 7,800 pounds. That number seems remarkably low when compared to the F-150, which can tow up to 11,400 pounds with its diesel. Extra power and torque would have us assume that GM could get even better numbers than Ford, so we're going to hold our final judgment for official word. A 10-speed automatic will do the shifting on the diesel, just like on the 6.2-liter V8. Since the Chevy Silverado is also expected to get this engine, we can assume the figures would be almost, if not identical, to those we see here. We recently drove the 2019 Sierra and Silverado without the diesel engines, so go check those reviews out if you'd like to know more of our thoughts on the redesigned GM trucks. Related video:
