WOW a 2003 Chevrolet S10 with only 43k ORIGINAL miles. Please scroll down for 30 + pictures! I proved the mileage with the prior company who owned it as well as the 1 owner clean and clear Carfax! This is a special order as its a base model truck that has the powerful 4.3 V6. This is more unique then others as you could still pull something of decent size with the truck yet retain good fuel mileage for around the town cruising!
The features of the Base Model Truck... Longbed! 4.3L Vortec V6 20mpg! ICE COLD A/C Tires are decent! AM/FM Radio Crank window Rubber floors
Condition This vehicle was a 1 owner fleet maintained vehicle. Perfect Carfax! Regular fluid changes and services. The vehicle however was WELL USED. It has scratches, dings, all over the vehicle(PICTURES WILL BE PROVIDED OF THIS). Little rust starting to bubble in each cab corners, not bad but it is noticed if you get down and fully inspect it. I had the door pins replaced however you have to close the driver door it still a little harder then you normally would. Again, I am just being overly honest and do not want to waste anyone's time. I do not want to devalue or degrade this vehicle, as it runs and drives great! This vehicle is great for a business owner looking to add to their fleet yet not care about the truck, but know its going to last them a long time. Payment I take cash, check, bank wire. I have bad credit lending which is listed below. I have good credit lending with rates on this truck at 2.9%. I am a licensed dealer with the State of Indiana. The state requires I charge 7% sales tax to all vehicle purchase regardless of where your home state is. YOU WILL GET CREDIT IN YOUR RESPECTIVE HOME STATE with documentation I provide to prove that it is already paid. You will just pay license and plate fees when you get home. Its that simple. I have financing available for bad credit, no credit, really really really bad credit. Please email me or fill out a credit application on my website www.thecarcove.com WE CAN GET YOU APPROVED!!!! Shipping I can assist with shipping to anywhere in the US. I ship and buy dozens of vehicles out of state so I have a good group of people I work with to get fair rates and to get it to you quickly. You of course would have to pay for the shipping however I could help you save a bit. Just inquire with details of where you need it to go. Contact Give me a call or text anytime my name is Grant 317-654-0829. I have confidence in selling and listing the vehicles that I list. I personally guarantee them! Buy with confidence! GM recalls 3.6 million vehicles for airbag-software problems
Fri, Sep 9 2016The Basics: General Motors is recalling 3.64 million vehicles across its lineup for an airbag-related issue. The recall covers the 2014-2015 Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet SS, and Spark EV; 2014-2017 Chevrolet Corvette, Trax, Caprice PPV, Silverado 1500, Buick Encore, and GMC Sierra 1500; and 2015-2017 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado HD, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Sierra HD, Cadillac Escalade, and Escalade ESV. The Problem: Affected vehicles have a sensing and diagnostic module that controls the airbags and seat-belt pretensioners. The software it uses has a defect that can prompt the module to run a diagnostic test under specific driving conditions, which will also deactivate the front airbags and pretensioners. This means that it would be possible for those safety systems to not activate in a crash, potentially leading to injury or death. Injuries/Deaths: General Motors began an investigation that led to the recall after a 2014 Silverado was involved in a crash in which the airbags did not deploy. No information was given as to injuries or deaths. The Fix: Owners can bring their vehicles to a local General Motors dealer where a software update will be installed to fix the issue. The fix will be free of charge. If you own one: General Motors will contact owners of affected cars, and owners can check whether their vehicles are affected by visiting entering their vehicle identification numbers at either the GM Owner Center website or the NHTSA website. Owners can then schedule a time to have the update installed. Related Video:
Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing
Tue, Nov 1 2016Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. We've assembled a spreadsheet on Google Docs that offers an easy to browse comparison of the different stats assembled by the Michigan State Police, and divided the vehicles between standard V6-powered sedans, high-performance sedans (EcoBoost and V8 models), and SUVs. You can check it out here. Related Video:
General Motors and EVs: No stranger to firsts, but where's the leadership?
Tue, Apr 7 20152015 is already shaping up to be the year of "affordable, 200-mile EV" concepts. Nissan and Tesla have each been talking about them for some time, the latter promising to unveil its Model 3 at the North American International Auto Show in January before balking when the time came. Instead, Chevrolet beat them all by unveiling the Bolt concept at the same event, followed shortly thereafter with suggestions of a 2016 launch – potentially offering the first nationwide EV with anything close to that range. It was the ballsiest EV-related move General Motors has made in a quarter century. But will it remain so? Exactly 25 years before the Bolt rolled up onto the turntable, then-Chairman Roger Smith unveiled GM's last ground-up EV concept, the even-more-unfortunately-named Impact, at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 1990. A few months later, he surprised most of his colleagues by announcing its intended production in honor of Earth Day. It was the first modern foray into electric vehicles for the US by any automaker, one that was rewarded by the State of California with what is now known as the Zero Emissions Vehicle mandate. The program not only forced other automakers into competing with Roger's pet project, but inspired all of them to fight it like small children against bedtime. Some years later, the drivers themselves weighed in, with a biting documentary about that obstinance and the leadership it cost both GM and the country. Within months, GM was first back into the fray of plug-in vehicles. Many criticized the company for starting with a PHEV rather than jump straight back into EVs. The choice wasn't totally out of the blue – even EV1 was meant to be followed by a PHEV. And especially on the heels of Who Killed the Electric Car?, some skittishness was understandable: even a successful EV would invite a "we told you so" public reaction, underscoring their mistake in ending the EV1 program. If a new EV didn't do well, they'd be convicted in the public eye as serial killers. All while seeking a federal bailout. For all the flak, the resulting Chevy Volt was and is a better car than GM has ever gotten credit for. But the company seemed to grow weary of having to overcome its varied past, and while the current owners remain happy, much of the stakeholder and community engagement that so effectively built early goodwill and sales growth faded not long after launch. Marketing has been spotty in both consistency and effectiveness.
