1984 CHEVY C70 8.2L DETROIT DIESEL. I AM NOT SURE OF THE MILEAGE, AS WE ARE AT LEAST THE THIRD OWNER. 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES (LESS THAN 10 MILES ON THE NEW BRAKE PADS) Solid chasis, beautiful starting engine, no sluggish turnover any time of the year. 3 compartment tank, though we only used it as one. auger works well. battery disconnect; previous owner said he thought it had something drawing the batteries down so he installed a disconnect. It must have solved the problem because we have never had an issue with the batteries. There is a slight leak on one of the power steering lines. The truck seems mechanically solid. Tires are in good shape. The previous owner just drove and used it between his farms, and we purchased it to use as a rolling storage truck for hominy. We no longer have a need for it because we are getting out of the hog business, The old man wants out!

2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown

They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
