Woodland Hills, California, United States
Vehicle Title:Clear
Make: Chevrolet
Drive Type: 4 speed
Model: Other Pickups
Mileage: 45,000
Trim: FLEETSIDE SHORT BED BIG WINDOW
This truck has been in the family since 1977. It has NO RUST. It was stored in Fresno in a very dry climate, for all its life. Short bed FLEETSIDE big rear window. It has a 350 motor with a 4 speed car transmission and a hurst shifter. Truck drives nice and shifts really good. There is an AC compressor on the motor but I never hooked up the AC. Edelbrock carburetor, headers. It drives very nice, has power steering and a tilt wheel. Very fun truck to drive, needs nothing just drive it. Tires are in good shape (they where replaced years ago before the truck sat). Has very cool vintage mag wheels with the spinner cap. The front suspension is stock, has drum brakes and it stops very good. The wiring harness has been updated. Truck is function as is and can be driven now. Roll pan. Truck was built into a hot rod in the early 1980s. Has the coolest patina paint job that is irreplaceable. Very solid driving no issues.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Chevy's Android Auto update will reach cars in March
Fri, Sep 25 2015Buying a new Chevy with the hopes of using Android Auto during your daily commute? You'll have to sit tight for a while before that dream becomes reality. The carmaker announced that an Android Auto software update will only reach its 2016 model-year vehicles next March, starting with those that have 8-inch MyLink touchscreen systems. That's going to be a long half-year wait if you're eager to get Google Maps directions through the center stack. The good news? Chevy is promising that all vehicles with 7- and 8-inch MyLink displays (ranging from the Spark to the Corvette) will eventually have Android Auto, so you won't have to drive one of the brand's swankier machines to get a smartphone-powered infotainment deck.
