1955 Stepside

This truck was build by a local speed shop years ago.  It was never finished.  Has all the good parts to make this a nice truck. Has sat in my garage the last eight years, I start the truck from time to time always starts right up.  Drove it the last time to the Good Guys show in Pleasanton Ca, in 2007 ran great runs down the road straight, motor is very fast.  My health forces sale and the reason truck was never finished.  The truck has the following parts.

383 Stroker motor
350 turbo trans
Fatman frontend installed correct rides nice and straight down the road
New Bed with diamond plate side of inside bed needs paint
Front discs rear drums SSBC brakes
Currie rearend not sure of ratio but at 70mph tacs at 3000rpm
Gas tank removed from cab placed between rear frame rails
Battery moved under cab passenger side red top Altima Battery
Tilt steering column with Leather wheel
Rally rims with BFGoodrich tires 235/15 front 275/15 rears

Can not drive the truck because the brakes need to be gone through.  Truck does start right up everytime.  Truck needs a new home.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
