This is a rebuild of a rust undamaged southern truck ..We wanted to make it ,or keep it , looking old but all the good stuff to make it on todays roads and speed.

Frame off ,Monte Carlo front suspension and rear end .Power disc brakes were added and power steering .Frame was blasted with walnuts and paint and all new lines were run.

Small block 400 was completely rebuilt by a builder here with over 40 years in business. Every thing new alum intake ,custom made alum. radiator ,Holley carb with electric choke

electric fan on radiator, truck runs cool and nice in the city heat...nice sounding dual pipes and passed a ridged state inspection last month ..

Body was treated to same blast and any minor dins were made pretty before the puzzle went back together. All glass is perfect ,cranks for windows and door handles work fine .

The grey paint can be painted over and used as a good primer .dash and door panels were painted and custom grey carpet through out .Brand new gas tank ..

The tires and Crager wheels are spotless and there is perfect clearance for suspension ...The bed floor is made of diamond plate with a very nice wooden bed that can slide right out

if you need to haul something...It carry's a Harley ..but that's another story. Need to sell to start another ,this is what I do ..I am retired and love motors and wheels..THANK YOU

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why

Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
