Was asked a few questions so here is a honest answer as this vehicle has not been subject to modifications other than the radio and nothing was cut or disturbed as it came with dual rear speakers and the chain of ownership is well documented THIS IS A TRUE GARAGE FIND The engine that bears the VIN of the vehicle is a January build so my strong belief is that it is 1971 specifications producing 270 H.P. rather than the 200 H.P. produced in 1972 drive it and believe it as I believe this was RPO vehicle for the showroom as it is highly optioned you can choose to believe this or not bot I have been restoring classic Chevrolets for over 45 years Another question was where is the smog pump and because this was an RPO vehicle ordered for sale in Tennessee Idle jet adjustment were plugged, compression lowered, timing retarded and this met a low registered vehicle state.
