1962 Impala 2 door hardtop with factory air. I have owned this Impala for 10 years and I am second owner. No rust no wrecks. This car is very clean straight and original. Paint is in very good condition with very few flaws. A few small rock chips in front. Chrome strips, Window chrome, Glass, and bumpers are in excellent condition. Dash board even still looks new. Not repainted!!! Motor and transmission run very well and no smoke. Headliner has 3 inch cut - look close at pictures. Pictures tell it all, look close. Also air does not blow cold. Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face.
