1966 Impala rebuilt fresh 327 flat top with a 2 speed powerglide. Standard brakes and steering all works great! This car is a cruiser! fun to drive! Everything the car seems like its missing is in the trunk every piece of trim and every interior piece minus front seat. The car ran a 15.45 at 89 miles an hr in the quater only made two runs on it for fun to see what it would do. This is not a race car tho I drive it 40 miles to work when its nice and it loves to just cruise at 55-65 mph. All the windows work great and heat works. I have a malibu bench seat i set in the car just recently bolted one of my buckets in the car because I took it to the race track and had to pass tec inspection. Passenger quater skin was replaced before me. the only rust on the car i showed in pictures. Frame is solid! Car will be sold with pontiac ralley wheels or will add the new american racing thrust wheels for additional $ at the end of the auction. All wiring is good and all lights and gaudges work fine. Will tow to buyer contact me for details threw eBay. Thank you for looking!

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
