This silver ice metallic Impala with less than 24,800 miles, has ALL the remaining of the following; basic 3-year, 36,000 mile, free maintenance, drivetrain 5-year, 100,000 mile, roadside 5-year, 100,000 mile and the 6-year 100,000 mile warranties.

This LT is a roomy, front-wheel-drive 4-door sedan equipped with the powerful 3.6L V6, variable valve timing, remote start, FlexFuel compatible engine.  The 302 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque V6 is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission allowing you to get around 30 mpg on the highway and, when you need it the most, the horsepower to roll past yield signs and merge with interstate traffic.  The body and suspension include significant sound-deadening treatments that make my Impala very quiet on the road.

MacPherson strut front suspension and trailing-arm rear suspension combined with a rear stabilizer bar gives this Impala a smooth ride with a true sporty feel.  You will remain cool because of great running air conditioning.  Cabin air filter keeps cabin air clean.  There is an oil life monitor system that allows you to get the most efficient use of each oil change.  The tilt steering wheel is wrapped in leather which feels so good to the touch and YES you can still smell that new "car-ness".

This car is not equipped with On-Star and XM/Serious satellite radio.

This Impala comes with front bucket seats.  The driver's seat is a 6-way power seat. In the back there's seating for three adults, or two when you fold down that "flip and fold flat center arm rest" to hold those cold beverages.  This car is full of storage space, the rear seat-backs fold flat with the floor of the trunk allowing you stretch out a sleeping bag and sleep comfortably with plenty of room for another.  I have no idea what this is but I'll put it in anyway, something about LATCH child-seat connectors, they are on all three of the rear seats, sounds like a good thing.

This LT has nice and shiny machined aluminum 17-inch wheels and tire pressure monitors that tell you what the pressures are inside the cockpit.  Tires are Good Year Eagles. There is remote start so you can climb into a warm car on a frigid morn.  And are separate temperature controls so your passenger to set their own temperature in their own seat area and leave you alone.  The CD player includes an auxiliary input port to connect all of those mobile devices that want to be heard. Ah, lets see there are automatically controlled halogen headlights, battery run down protection, dual-outlet stainless steel tail pipes, GM's StabiliTrak stability control system, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, side and side-curtain airbag, keyless entry, cruise control, power windows and locks, I am getting tired of writing.

This vehicle is stored in a garage.

The 2021 F-150 elevates Ford's bed game

Fri, Jun 26 2020

The new 2021 Ford F-150 is ushering in a new era of pickup capability, but there's more to it than the introduction of the PowerBoost hybrid. While that new powertrain is certainly the truck's headlining element, the supporting electrical architecture enables a level of utility that hasn't been offered in past consumer half-tons. The true party trick is Ford's new "Pro Power Onboard" feature, which is essentially a built-in generator that provides juice for the 2021 F-150's rather robust in-bed power station. This system is available even on gasoline-engine models, but its utility is maximized with the electrified powertrain. ICE models equipped with the option max out at 2.0 kilowatts, while the PowerBoost hybrid can be had with either a 2.4- or a whopping 7.2-kilowatt inverter.  The idea here is that the F-150 can essentially stand in for a high-output portable generator. In a worksite example provided by Ford, a PowerBoost model with the 7.2-kW upgrade and a single tank of fuel could provide 32 hours of power for an 1,800-watt compound miter saw, a 1,000W circular saw, a 1,200W battery charger, a 1,200W hammer drill, and a 1,000W air compressor with hundreds of watts to spare for lighting and other accessories. But even without the Pro Power Onboard option, Ford's new bed setup enables more versatility than in previous models. The new Tailgate Work Surface option adds a flat work area with integrated rulers, recesses for pencils or small tools, and even a stand for a personal device.  Ford is neither the first to offer an auxiliary power outlet in a half-ton pickup bed, nor was Ford the first to introduce a more feature-rich tailgate. GMC's MultiPro tailgate was a major innovation on that front, and while it is geared mostly toward improving the cargo utility of the bed, it can also be customized with 12-volt power and even an accessory speaker system. The Ram 1500 is also offered with both a multi-function tailgate and AC power in the bed, though the latter option is limited to models with the RamBox cargo package.  As half-ton pickups approach levels of towing and hauling capability that begin to blur lines with heavy-duty offerings, it's clear that automakers are looking for ways to differentiate themselves without stepping on their own bigger trucks' toes. These new bed and tailgate innovations may yet be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to full-size pickup versatility. Related Video:

2016 Chevrolet Camaro: Everything we know so far [UPDATE]

Fri, May 15 2015

UPDATE: We fully expect the floodgates to open as facts and photos leak throughout the day. Watch this space for more information as it breaks, including these leaked photos, and some new powertrain speculation. Chevrolet has made a grand production of teasing the all-new, sixth-generation Camaro. That slow trickle will become a deluge this weekend, when the 2016 model hits the stage on Detroit's Belle Isle as part of an all-day Camaro-palooza. Considering you're likely to hear plenty about the next-gen muscle car in the next couple days, we figured now is the perfect time to sort out all the facts and rumors we've heard about the next-generation coupe that's coming this weekend. Here's everything we know about Camaro Six. What Will It Look Like? Arguably the easiest Camaro question to answer after all the teasers and spy shots, General Motors' design team favored evolving the current car's retro design language while retaining the same basic shape. The long hood will carry on, joined by an even shorter, wing-topped rear deck, giving the 2016 an almost fastback-like look. The greenhouse is still slim, but lateral visibility may improve slightly owing to the larger quarter windows. We can only hope. The rear end looks to have been rounded, while Chevy's own teaser shows off larger, more prominent taillight housings than the simple rectangular lights on today's car. Expect quad-tipped exhausts to be offered on at least one version of the Camaro. Judging by the single teaser of the car's profile, the rear haunches will be larger and more chiseled. The muscular aluminum hood and its accompanying power bulge are more heavily styled than on today's car, although it looks largely similar in terms of size. It sits atop an even slimmer upper grille that's barely big enough for Chevy's Bowtie logo, with most of the visual mass moving to the gaping lower grille. One of the more tantalizing rumors surrounding the new Camaro focuses on its roof. As evidenced in a rather bizarre round of spy photos, it almost looks like Chevy is considering a removable panel, a la Corvette Stingray. T-tops are also a distinct (and more probable, we hope) possibility. The new shape will result in a more aerodynamic car, and Chevy claims the 2016 Camaro spent 350 hours in the wind tunnel. Overall lift has apparently been cut by 30 percent, thanks partially to a new, smooth underbody panel. Chevrolet has been far less forthcoming with information on the new Camaro's cabin.
