I am selling my 63 Impala 2 door hardtop project car. I bought this car from a guy who had spent $27,000 in parts and labor until his body man passed away and he abandoned project. Most of the parts seem to be there. (see pics) The hood and glass is missing for sure.

The car has new floors installed as well as new rockers and quarters. The chassis is all done with all rebuilt suspension, new brake lines, fuel lines, the underside of the car is painted red very nicely done. Included with the car is completely redone seats with original style covers and new door panels still in there boxes. I did see a new gas tank and sending unit in the mix of parts. There are 2 front fenders that need rust repair included, pretty much what you see in the pictures is what goes with the car.

Overall could be a very nice car when completed. A bunch of hard work has been done and a bunch of money spent so far.

Car had a 409 in it prior to me purchasing the car, it has the dual fuel lines installed. Cant say if its a real 409 car or not.

Top Gear America is back for the penultimate episode of the first season. Used car challenges were some of the highlights of the original UK edition. In our exclusive clip, Tom Ford, Antron Brown and William Fichtner run their $7,000 sports cars in a drag race. As expected, the trio chose very different cars for the challenge. Watch the video to see if a Subaru WRX's all-wheel drive can overcome a power deficit to beat a Ford Mustang and a Chevy Corvette. Brown and Fichtner also spend some time relaxing with an old Jeep Wagoneer. Like them, we're really hoping Jeep will bring back the Wagoneer nameplate. EcoCar3 will convert Camaro to bitchin' eco rides

In the 47-year-history of the Chevrolet Camaro, there have been countless college-age kids spending a ton of time getting under the hood and souping 'em up. Now, General Motors is adding a twist to the concept by donating 16 Camaros for the EcoCar challenge that puts university teams together to wring out better fuel-efficiency out of various vehicles. No word on whether there will be donuts on anyone's lawn, as suggested by 80's punks the Dead Milkmen, but the idea's never a bad one. EcoCar3 will feature 16 teams such as Arizona State, Penn State, Ontario's University of Waterloo and, of course, Detroit's Wayne State University. They'll spend the next four years "[reducing] environmental impact, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car," as the EcoCar organizers say. The goal is to maintain body design and safety standards while boosting efficiency and lowering emissions, but the actual process is far more complicated than that description suggests. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Bosch are among the sponsors of the contest, which is also put on by the US Department of Energy and managed by Argonne National Laboratory. Penn State won Year Two of the three-year EcoCar 2 competition with its E85 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle converted out of a Chevy Malibu.
